I'd rather stop the muslim problem dead in its tracks before it can become a big problem, like it is in Europe. People downplaying this are arrogant fools that think because we live on "magic soil", that whats happening in Europe would never happen here. They wrap themselves in the constitution and their freedoms when the muslims have flat out said that they will use those things against us.

As a cradle Catholic, I'd say the Catholic church in America has a pretty bad, recent, and glaring track record of substituting its own methods of resolution for the American justice system.

And that's probably the immediate risk in these fast growing Muslim enclaves - that Sharia courts are substituted for civil authority in cases of domestic abuse, and the victims are cut off from recourse in the justice system.

Long term, look at the two-tiered approach to justice arising in the UK and parts of Western Europe.

There are certain parts of the country, often in rural areas, where a large percentage of physicians are immigrants - many of whom are indeed Muslim. I do not know the percentage, but I do know several that had to move to a rural area after their residency or fellowship as part of the visa requirements. In big cities the physicians are more diverse, but in smaller towns (even Baytown, near Houston) you're going to have a lot more minority physicians from various countries - India, Pakistan, Iran, China, Egypt, Nigeria, etc.

I'm a cradle Catholic as well, and the fact is that Irish immigration had nothing whatsoever to do with the fear mongering of the supposed dire threat it posed. There was no plan or intent to take over America and make it a Catholic state beholden to Rome. This lie was still being pushed when Kennedy was running for president.

My many specialist are. Have one specialist with the last name of Zue who isn't and my GP IS THE ONLY ONE WITH Anglo name. Before my wife retired from the largest health department in Texas 10 plus years ago, her director was Muslim , but he grew up in Ohio.

If modern history has taught us anything it is that Muslims do not get along well with others.
