There are at most 500k Muslims in Texas. And there are 31 million non Muslims. Someone please do the math on the necessary birthrates.

How would banning sharia law prevent that?

Personally, I think this current fear mongering of shariah law is just a distraction from a lack of actual policy that will benefit the lives of everyday average Texans. Whoever said Islam will be the dominant religion by 2040, in 14 years, is laughable.

There are at most 500k Muslims in Texas. And there are 31 million non Muslims. Someone please do the math on the necessary birthrates.

I'm pretty positive that the dominant religion we are moving towards in this country is atheism. In a few decades Muslims and Christians will be allying trying to protect their worship from atheists.

I have never lived under shariah, and neither have 95% of Muslims alive today. I'm sure you can Google it just as well as I can.

I'm just curious how banning shariah does anything to stop crimes committed by individuals, or groups of individuals, that are already against the law.

To be honest, just ban shariah. It will honestly have no effect on anyones lives. Then maybe we can get back to focusing on issues that do actually have an effect on Americans and Texans .

we can do all that why does it have to be one or the other. Sharia ban is response to the large influx of Muslims into the USA just like UK where some sections are under Sharia law and the UK government has been complicit, but you know this.

The Sharia law discussions always make me think of this woman lol

There are valid concerns surrounding Islam in the United States, but so much of this is fear mongering that is ridiculously out of control. It feels similar to some of the transgender issues...a problem, for sure, but made out to be a much bigger deal by culture warriors than it actually is.
