Yes and Pakistan said they would help.if Saudis attacked. That wont happen.

Throwing ASBM at a carrier carries a risk. They could hit it. And if they did, the Dogs of War get unleashed.

I'm trying to imagine the response if they draw to the inside straight of all inside straights and hit a carrier. It won't be blowing a hole in a tank on Kharg.

That would be odd considering the UAE was sponsoring a different group in Yemen that the Saudis bombed a few months ago. There's some disagreement over Yemen within Arab circles but this could be a situation of the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Brett Baer on Fox report Bahrain as well with "most" intercepted but no indication it was not "all". He made note that these clustered barrages have not been seem in a while. 40 missiles fired by Iran per Hugh Hewitt.

I starred you but that is absolutely the incorrect analysis

the IRGC would LOVE to hit one of our fleet carriers and cause as many American casualties as possible-

it would be devastating to the GOP in the midterm elections, would put out of action a major launching pad for US Navy attacks against Iran, and would lead to a larger war

all things the IRGC wants

Iran launched a ton of missiles toward our forces in Jordan I read. Things aren't going well though for the mullahs. We also hit Kharg Island apparently.

They desperately want to hit a USN ship and apparently are incapable of doing so.

It appears Iran's inability to re-supply the Houthi's is becoming a real 'multiplier' of sorts to the Yemeni/Saudi(?) forces moving on them.

As Hemmingway once put it 'gradually, and then suddenly.' Or something like that.

Quit talking and just do it. Or, heck, recognize the Houthi's for what they are, IRGC proxies, and strike some neighborhoods in the north of Tehran.

the IRGC mostly used cluster munition warheads against the Israelis because the IDF was so good at shooting down a standard ballistic missile

the positive is that the cluster bombs are MUCH smaller and do much less damage than a regular warhead smashing into one of our bases.

they are area strikes rather than targeted strikes.

I think the insinuation was a grouping of missiles and not a clustered warhead.

Either way, IRGC pissing on the bear with outdated spray and receiving a foot beating for it.

Agree with your post earlier on the big downside of Iran getting a lucky strike on a US asset.

We shall see what today holds.
