Me, as Anglo-Saxon as you can be, married a natural Texan Hispanic and we now have blended tejano children. The right way. The Texas way.

Native tejanos pose no issue for the most part. There are families that have been here as long or longer than a lot of the old stock Americans. The problem arises when the newer generations start identifying with Mexico and buy in to the narrative of the youth instead of embracing their heritage.

I think the same can be said for a lot of Hispanic old stock families across the southwest.

Agreed but this stock does not. Multiple uncles and relatives buried at Ft. Sam.

Self-segregation is apparently good.

Segregating with people who look like you and have the same customs as you is natural.

It's just about been the death of football at a lot of Frisco ISD schools. All the schools on the east end of the district are struggling even to field a team.

Independence High School
Students: 1,698
0-10

Liberty High School (only win was Independence)
Students: 1,798
1-9

Heritage High School (2 out of district wins)
Students: 1,996
2-8

Their cricket teams probably rock tho

Don't tell them about Sugar Land.

You should see Cedar Park and others North of Austin proper..

Ronald Reagan Blvd is (ironically) Indian restaurants as far as the eye can see. I like Indian food, but I refuse to eat there out of principle.

As long as anyone but white people are doing it, those on the left have no issues. Their motto is "Do as I say (and believe in my heart of hearts), not as I do."

And probably tons of cousins, etc. from the Mexican side, from here.

I'm sure it's been said already but Leander/Cedar Park is the Indian capital of Texas. They are EVERYWHERE.

Just wait until they start winning local elections. Better get out and vote.

Look at the ballot… not only will they take our jobs, but they will vote as a bloc and rule us too.

There are high end neighborhoods in prosper that are nearly 100% Indian. I don't know if there's any validity to it, but heard in parts of India that they have billboards advertising for moves to various high end suburbs of Dallas and Houston. I do think they are being recruited here en masse.

Yeah. The new phase in our development is probably 30+% Indian. All million+ dollar homes. Brand new.

Very interested to find out where they are getting that kind of coin. My son and new wife can't afford a decent starter home right now when insurance and taxes are considered. Are large sums of money being moved across national borders, are financiers backing them?

Ha, no. There's a ton of money in India. It's just all owned in the upper classes.

This. And sometimes brothers move in together. So 2 incomes, and then grandparents' contribution.

They're also super cheap. You know it's an Indian home when you see a 1.3mm house with cheap Costco landscape lights, unkept landscaping, and a Toyota minivan or sedan outside. Plus a Tesla. Always a Tesla.

Even better. Many of these are vegetarian. No meat at all. Just rice curry and veggies.

I laughed, because these really are accurate stereotypes. I'm always extra careful around those vehicle makes in particular for this reason.
