The same group has a Fairfield (Marriott) on their page. Wouldn't surprise me if Marriott drop kicked them out too. Marriott is pretty strict on their PR

And yet Nick Sortor and the rest of the pitchfork brigade are still out there screaming about destroying Hilton.

Life is not fair. Especially if you are dumb or let dumbasses represent your brand.

So Hilton does the right thing by nuking the franchise, but they should still be destroyed?

Never said that. But again you love to jump to bad conclusions. Everspeak is dumb and Hilton may be acting too slowly. If Hilton is not careful they could be Bud Lit.
Will say that Hilton should be more aggressive, rip down there flag where needed, and distance themselves from bad apples.

Hilton and the franchisee have a contract / agreement that comes into play as well. I imagine yesterday afternoon was fact gathering, warning shot to franchisee, demand they issue a statement and apology consistent with corporate.
Then the video was enough legally for them to separate.
Hilton seems to have acted quickly with some proper diligence.
They should be good as long as there are not more locations or some evidence this came FROM corporate.

They acted within 24 hours and have distanced themselves by firing these foreigner clowns. That's pretty damn fast.
Will probably take a few days to remove the sign from the building though.

Seems like the actions by HIlton corporate are fair and what I would have done myself if I was in their shoes. The fault is solely on this franchise. I hope they have to file for bankruptcy now and that every three letter agency takes a good hard look at them for other "issues".
The backers of that hotel are most likely now persona non grata in the hospitality industry - expect to see them sell and gobbling up a few more convenience stores to compensate lol.

And then we deport the four owners to boot.

So I can keep my Diamond status and points now?
That's good 'cause I really didn't want to start over. If Marriott offered me a swap like the airlines used to do, I'd probably do it on principle.

Seems like half the hotels in the US are owned by Hilton. This will be a difficult boycott.

They do. Call Marriott and tell them your Hilton status. Ask for a platinum challenge. You get immediate platinum status, and after 16 paid stays in a year, it becomes permanent.
IHG will typically do a straight up status match without the challenge.

I'm 100% certain I'll be successful boycotting them.

I'm a Geologist, not a big international company corporate guy.
It seems to me though that getting a franchise revoked in ~24 hours is record pace for a large corporation to react in such a decisive and definitive manner.
By nature big organizations don't change the rug in the corporate office lobby without consultation of a committee and review by legal. To get a franchise revoked that quickly means they were acting EXTREMELY quickly and took this matter at the absolute highest priority.
If anything their reaction is remarkable. No interviews. No unnecessary statements. Just quick and decisive action, and when their instructions were not followed their follow-up action was obviously ready and waiting.

That was defiantly a quick enough response. They saved my business with them.

After seeing how Hilton has reacted i dont understand this. Can you please explain your logic?
seems to me that their actions should if anything cause people to support Hilton, not boycott them. Seems silly.
what about the other brands opened by the franchise? Will you also boycott them?

Within of 24hrs of notification, they pulled the franchise...
Do you want them to nuke the family puppy while they're at it?
