Why should the husband go against the police officer? His jobs should be to get his wife/girlfriend to obey the police and behave themselves. Yes, she may freak out and attack him. 100 years ago, you could slap the beach into submission but in today's woke world you cannot.

Her boss has announced that her punishment is suspension without pay and an apology.

Know a former local LEO, he said by far they are the most difficult to subdue once they get going. He said he's dealt with guys on PCP/Drugs/whatever that were easier.
