The reason NY redistricted in 2024 was because they started the process after the 2020 census, and it took three years to get a redistricting plan approved. I didn't leave anything out. If you couldn't figure out that the Democrats that were in charge, and have been in charge of the New York Assembly since before I was born, were sued and had to redraw it because a court said their blatant gerrymander was unconstitutional, that's not my fault. I didn't think I'd have to include that it was because of Democrat gerrymandering, because I assumed that people that can rub two brain cells together and have a college degree would have an inkling of knowledge about when the last time the Democrats controlled the New York Assembly. I won't make that mistake next time.

Well sadly none of this really matters to the people in their districts and in Al Green's case, he gets to virtually run unopposed in his. Which makes sense as to why he's at the forefront in this charade of trying to prevent more Republican leadership in Texas, which represents the vast majority of the state.
