Tell me again that we are going to be able to co-exist in perpetuity with these radical left wingers?

A sitting Senator thinks it's his place to disrupt and create a disturbance at a press conference and then proceeds to resist arrest as well.

Essentially ALL of California's state wide elected leaders are in open rebellion.

He wasn't arrested. I just saw his press conference. He sounded like he was about to cry lol.

He wasn't even detained. His words.

And yes, California democrats are in open rebellion.

Thank you @UrbanAg..... you are right I need to provide clarification.

From Grok:
Senator Alex Padilla was detained after interrupting a press conference by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem in Los Angeles on June 12, 2025. Reports suggest he approached the lectern to ask questions about immigration policies, leading to his forcible removal and handcuffing. The exact reason for his detention remains unclear, with no formal charges specified. Some argue it was to maintain order, while others, including Democrats, call it excessive. He was released but held briefly in a room. More details may emerge as the situation develops.

Its not possible in the long term. Anyone that thinks so on either side is a delusional, hopelessly brain washed, dumbass. The current political climate in this nation is not remotely sustainable. Its like the world political map of 1975 compressed into one nation. No way this endures in its current form.

What I put together in another OP... Moving here to avoid duplication

Mostly AP article quotes

Short version...
Democrat Senator from California, Alex Padilla was removed and detained, in handcuffs, from a press event being held by DHS Secretary Noem....

AP Story....
Quote:

Democratic California U.S. Sen. Alex Padilla was forcefully removed Thursday by security officers from a press conference being held on immigration by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
Video shows a Secret Service special agent on Noem's detail grabbing Padilla by his jacket and shoving him from the room, as the senator struggles to catch his breath while identifying himself.
"I'm Sen. Alex Padilla. I have questions for the secretary," he shouted in a halting voice. He tries to push back into the room when a second security guard appears.
Once out of the room, he can be heard shouting, "Hands off!"

Quote:

DHS defended the actions of the agents.

Senator Padilla chose disrespectful political theatre and interrupted a live press conference without identifying himself or having his Senate security pin on as he lunged toward Secretary Noem," the statement said. "Mr. Padilla was told repeatedly to back away and did not comply with officers' repeated commands."
The agency said in that statement that agents "thought he was an attacker and officers acted appropriately."

What I bet you won't see widely reported...
Quote:

"Secretary Noem met with Senator Padilla after and held a 15 minute meeting," the agency said.

My thoughts.... Maybe he didn't realize he didn't have his pin (I didn't know there was such a thing, but ok) but he's getting the clicks he probably wanted.

Unfortunately you are correct.

America will ultimately tear itself apart. It is inevitable. Both sides know it whether they can admit it or not.

Which is why I am more than willing to entertain the notion of a civil, peaceful, national divorce. It's so much better than a violent, drawn out struggle, which will come to the same conclusion anyway.

They don't understand that the majority of the people are FED UP WITH THE LEFT!

The polling on this issue is solidly behind the President.

It seems that the big oaf Senator from PA with brain damage is the only one thinking at all critically on their side.

Oh, rest assured, he very intentionally did not wear his Senator pin for this very reason. He wanted to get the reaction he got so he could get the optics for the cameras.

Yes! We've got to start having a serious discussion about a split. We are as divided as we were during the Civil War; the guns are simply still in the holster at this point.

There needs to be the ability to remove them from office for conduct issues. There may already be. I don't know, but, i'm sick of the childish behavior from the left.

Maybe his plan is to run for president in 2028. This is the start of his campaign. That's how the dems do it.

From the comments on X...

Elections are when people find out what politicians stand for, and politicians find out what people will fall for.

I don't want it..... but we live in a complete unbridgeable divide.

I have started wondering about if so many things in the "Enlightenment" were bad..... No matter what laws or Constitutional amendments we pass or have.... the Marxist Left will ALWAYS find a way to bypass, ignore, or break it..... Even if that means completely redefining words and meaning.....

This Jacob Soboroff was "sent" this video, as I'm sure dozens if not hundreds of other Dem supporters on X. So they can meet their objective of stirring up more sheet online. That was obviously the Senator's objective.

They don't want the smoke in a direct full citizen on citizen confrontation. They think that their ability to mobilize mobs will never be matched. So they continue to do it. But there is a critical mass. And we are approaching it quickly. Their method is insidious..... game the system and abuse it to attain their complete Marxist takeover..... and impose a godless, woke, socialist regime in perpetuity.

The dems consider themselves great actors. They believe it and maybe a very small percentage of their constituents believe it. How sad this is all they have to fall back on. They wonder why their approval numbers are tanking.
