This shows a big issue with accountability within government and the private sector. The company most likely was audited or had to have an audit every year as well as further digging into the procedures dealing with the voting information they transmitted.
The government most will get to start a commission with "friendly" people on it that will call investigations/write papers for the the next five years and then disclose some fraction of the crap that they actually pulled and call it good.
It's absolute crap.
