He has to come out of negotiation with A bill. Otherwise, the narrative is "MJ is gonna shut down the gov bc he can't get a deal done" and Trump is mocking him, and GOP is to blame....that's a much worse look. No one cares about yesterday.

Got to think of MJ as a mediator whose only responsibility is to get keep ball in Dems court and ensure they are to blame for no passage. Whatever acting he needs to do, or arrows to take, its all made easier with DOGE and X.

As someone posted, many of the things they want to get done next year need to have the debt limit raised. Because the CBO scoring will show that initial "costs" will raise the deficit. Which makes it harder to get it done via reconciliation...

Are you claiming sleep apnea isn't a disability? I have severe sleep apnea caused by burn pit exposure in Afghanistan, so severe that my doctor says that sleeping without my CPAP is a real risk to my life. I'm in pretty good shape for being 47, I'm not obese and exercise multiple times a week so it isn't due to life style choices, it was the burn pits

This was a 2/3rd majority vote. The next vote would have been a simple majority vote had the number of R defectors not been so high. They would have tried to sway the few opposed.

And I'm not getting a whole lot for the apnea. Again, I would not have sleep apnea, hashimoto's disease, and insomnia were it not for being exposed to burn pits that wrecked body. I would not have PTSD were it not for a combat deployment. But I have all those issues and the government compensates me for it because it was due to my time in Afghanistan

When you have insomnia, a CPAP doesn't help with falling asleep, it's uncomfortable and disrupts the ability to fall asleep. It certainly doesn't make me whole. Im also an agoraphobe due to my thyroid issues, and for the most part my medications that have host of side effects, work to get over that feeling and anxiety. My time in Afghanistan wrecked my body and mind, so it pisses me off to see folks like you imply that they aren't real issues or that they are easily managed
