Btw they don't mind being called Marxists so the above accurate description is necessary. And no need to wait for the "media" to report it that way either since they too are far left wing extremists.Hubert J. This is marxists being marxists.
Supposedly there is growing support among the people for the AfD, which is more of a right wing party with anti-globalist stances.
It would require a government of the people, for the people, and by the people...conservative/liberal and republican/democrat are just labels that are part of the corruption that our government has devolved to beAg_of_08 said:BboroAg said:I agree....it would be awesome if the USA could embrace sound, free market economics unburdened as much as possible from regulation too.CDUB98 said:
The joke is on Germany, France, and the UK. They already passed the point of no return in their march towards Marxism.
Even the more "conservative" among the people still beg for gov't economic safety nets. They just have differing views on the social issues. These people do not understand that economics MUST come first. Without sound, free market economics unburdened as much as possible from regulation, you remain exactly as you are. Failing and arguing about the scraps around the table.
That would require "conservatives" to care more about economic principles than catchy slogans and their religion. There wasn't a single candidate in this election that supported an actual free market

Just one week after the French government collapsed. Europe is a mess right now. You've got to think that the people over there are sick of the leftist globalists that have been running their countries into the ground.

I wouldn't expect much to change in Germany. Even if the AfD manages to get the most votes, they won't get anywhere near a majority, and none of the other parties appear likely to invite them to join a coalition. That's what you get with proportional representation and multiple parties. If Germany had first past the post, like the UK, it might be different.
The energy fiasco is the gift that keeps on giving. Closing down their nuclear plants was mind numbingly stupid, and that will probably be Angela Merkel's only major policy legacy, besides opening the doors to immigrants. What a disaster!

Amazing a country of 84 million has 717 parliament members (one per roughly 115k) where we have 330 million and only 535 (one per 616k)
Interesting.
The difference is that members of Congress actually represent people and parliament members are only beholden to political parties.
