That would require "conservatives" to care more about economic principles than catchy slogans and their religion. There wasn't a single candidate in this election that supported an actual free market
It would require a government of the people, for the people, and by the people...conservative/liberal and republican/democrat are just labels that are part of the corruption that our government has devolved to be

Who knew that shutting down functioning nuclear plants and deciding to pin the largest industrial economy in Europe to unicorn farts and natural gas supplied by a dictator with a history of strong-arming his neighbors would have disastrous consequences?
