Sad to see her embrace cultural Marxism, but I guess it was inevitable since the NBA and WNBA are essentially subsidiaries of the Democrat Party.

Steve Kerr and Steph Curry were so confident during the DNC about the Democrats chances in 2024. What happened? Additionally, Lebron has the most insane takes on American politics that are not based anywhere near reality, and can be easily debunked in 5 minutes of looking at government data and stats. The black players the WNBA is built on are the black men playing in the NBA. Without the NBA subsidizing it, there would be no WNBA.

And oh by the way, about 2/3 of NBA ownership and league leadership is Jewish, so don't look at us WASPs for patronizing black athletes

What a sad world to live in, where one has to apologize for being a particular skin color when named the athlete of the year.

Certainly, and other people can have the opposite and cease supporting her for it as well. Time will tell if that happens, guess she'll claim to be a lesbian next.

The WNBA wasn't built off black players. It was built off the NBA.

If she thinks bending a knee to the black players is somehow going to make them think highly of her, she is wrong. She is popular, and white, and they will always dislike her. Plus, she is not lesbian so they have no use for her at all.

I won't read the article because I don't read Time. But unless she says that she asked Time to recognize a black WNBA player as Athlete of the year instead of her, she's not 100% serious.
