I guess it is pro-family if you might get married after getting the live-in pregnant.
The only reason this didn't occur for many many many couples is simple dumb luck.

I'd venture to guess that over 90% of unmarried couples have had that "I'm late conversation"

Of course. It is pro-family. It's just not the most pro-family it could have been.
True, I'll take what I can get these days though. I do like that it is pro-life...given that we are flooded with the opposite messaging from big companies and woke orgs these days.

Some would use a Time Machine to avoid mistakes in high school, make the first move on their crush, join the military, or buy a lotto ticket. I would take it back to day one with our oldest and do it all over again. Even if i had my soft heart as an older guy the whole time.
Same. I would not risk changing anything before she was born as even the tiniest changes in the past could have massive ripple effects and compromise my chance at meeting her. Hell, if we had had intercourse just a minute or two later, instead of the exact time we did, almost 100% chance It's some other kid and not the magical one I have right now. I'd still love them, I'm sure they'd be great, but I could never risk that. I'd go right back to the elevator ride up to the Labor and Delivery unit of Memorial City if you gave me a time machine.

Of course, for some of us less sensitive neanderthal brutes, this type of ad might work better:

FWIW, that's from Ford's F100 Pickup ad 'Scenes from Mr Majestyk,' the movie starring Charlie Bronson.

Right in the wake of Jaguar's disaster of an ad, Volvo kills it with this 3:46 ad.

Watch out girl dads.

And with a non-white family, but not going "WOKE!!!" while doing it.

This is definitely the way.

It is not hinted at all and he is completely wrong. At 2:22 the narrator says, "Who she adores..." and it clearly shows her in a romantic situation with a guy.

That's nice.

Still have no desire to own or drive a Volvo.

I wish they had a better name.

Was just about to point that out.

That and a lesbian relationship for the daughter. This is basically an early subversive ad from the 1990s. The fact that people are glossing over that doesn't make it not subversive and you are still tacitly accepting this by giving the entire ad approval.

Outside of the above the ad is great and is a very good short film. There was no reason at all to include the above beyond subversion and demoralization.

Where is this hinted at?
It isn't since she is with a guy when the line is spoken.

If you look at his posting history, you'll understand he sees "subversion and demoralization" in everything.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

Yeah, that was one of the things I could never get behind when I lived in Australia.

We have a couple of kids so now we're going to get married.

If you weren't sure, why were you having the kids?

you don't celebrate the sin but you celebrate the life. If you truly believe God is the author of life then all life should be celebrated and protected regardless of the sinful act that created that life.

The "For Life" when the car doesn't hit a pregnant woman and take out her unborn baby will probably explode some heads.
The next commercial will have the Volvo stopping a bank robbery, catching someone falling out of a plane, or performing life-saving surgery. And people will get something in their eyes or their allergies will flare up.

I cannot speak for women and LGBT+++ and I am not a marketing guru (although I have watched Mad Men twice) and I can tell you that men buy an idea, a dream, a promise and/or a statement (thus the chick car and man mobile). If you want to sell to men do not pull a Bud-light or Jaguar... All I have to say.

This is the only Porsche I could ever afford. This was when the SO and I were married in July, 1973 in Grand Teton National Park. If the high powered, high priced Porsches were proportionally better in performance, I couldn't stand to own one. I would have killed myself. This thing was a blast to drive.

I bought a 1982 Volovo Turbo, new. Loved it. that back door from the trunk to hold my snow skis was great.

Fin to drive and feeling safe/

Then, I made a change because I was getting married to a man with two kids who were young not to have toddler seats. So I needed a four door.

Went with Acura Integra, 1986) four door, manual, and that was a rocket. Getting to a hundred MPH was easy. Damn great car.
