"Shoemate said so far, there are more than a dozen names from the Navy alone, and they are still working through the Air Force and the Army."

"Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Charles "CQ" Brown will also be on the list, for his advocacy for DEI. Trump's taking out the chairman. That's gonna happen," Shoemate said."

The DOD needs a huge enema, purge, and reboot. Glad to see the Trump team already on it. MMGA.

I think I heard someone say there has been 80k purged due to DEI and Hegseth will offer them their full pay for amount of time out and resume status of where you were when pushed out.

If that number is correct, that is Fing ridiculous

That makes zero sense and is the opposite of everything Hegseth has ever said in regard to dei and the military.

Edit... I think you are trying to say that non dei employees were let go and will be brought back
Yes sorry, I suck at writing

How exactly would one be confident they're not? Can the predict how they are perceived politically 100%? My guess is that anyone who wants to stay employed there likely has some anxiety. Certainly those who are overtly political at their job should be more anxious.

So I'm assuming they'll only fire those that are know to be more liberal leaning and vocal about it than those are are conservative but vocal about it.

I thought the whole purpose was to root out people who express political bias in there jobs, from either end. Otherwise its going to be a huge turnstile of new employees every time a new party is in the WH. That's common at the top levels but I'd think rather inefficient in the masses at the lower levels.

Why so many? U.S. had less than 20 four star generals in WW2.

I agree to as a matter of general principle, but if the "Republican" way of running the US armed forces is to have them retrench and focus on their core missions of killing people and breaking things in their respective air/land/sea/space arenas, that's not partisan. Turning the military into a social experiment was the aberration; correcting that isn't "partisan".

Honestly not even sure what Trump could do to make the military "partisan"--require them to take courses in anti-woke, anti-DIE crap? That's stupid.

I love the use of "we are archiving it." Saw that in Maricopa County right before the Cyber Ninja audit was ordered by a judge to start. Election data was "archived" and then an Ooopsie! we lost the archived files.
I'm choosing to hope that the Trump campaign was anticipating this and has already undertaken contingency measures to ensure that the relevant info has already been secured for future reference. (Need to do the same in DOJ/State as well)
There will be enough whistleblowers coming forward so that all those that are guilty in weakening our military will see "justice".

And I an sure that the DEI office in the Pentagon is now "vacant".

Even during WW II, we never had this many four star generals.

No, the purpose is not to fire people because of their political beliefs, it is to fire people who implement stupid ass programs that aren't a part of the military's primary function of killing the enemy and destroying their stuff.
What about just general defense of the use and preventing our enemy's from attacking and mitigating threats or testing equipment that aid in the same? I'm pretty sure the DoD's mission is just a little bit more than "killing and destroying".

Its okay if you don't have the ability to form a cogent response. You could save your time and just response with "I don't like your posts"....or maybe just not reply if you can't come up with something. No one would know that you don't. But when you keep replying with this, you let everyone know.

Stop looking for wiggle room. Defense's purpose is also to kill people and break things. If it happens to also be a deterrent because of this, so be it.

Go bags, foreign passports! Seems like some government types are actually planning to flee:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/11/14/trump-critics-enemies-presidency-preparations/

" A retired U.S. Army officer who clashed with senior officials in Donald Trump's first White House looked into acquiring Italian citizenship in the run-up to this month's election but wasn't eligible and instead packed a "go bag" with cash and a list of emergency numbers in case he needs to flee."

" A member of Trump's first administration who publicly denounced him is applying for foreign citizenship and weighing whether to watch and wait or leave the country before the Jan. 20 inauguration.
And a former U.S. official who signed a notorious October 2020 letter suggesting that emails purportedly taken from a laptop belonging to Hunter Biden could be part of a "Russian information operation" is seeking a passport from a European country, uncertain about whether the getaway will prove necessary but concluding, "You don't want to have to scramble."

Who exactly or what organization do these people think is going to come for them in the dark of night to punish them for their crime for speaking out against Trump?

This is what I'm constantly asking those on the left when they say Trump is going to become a quasi dictator of sorts who quashes the constitution and sends people off to camps for opposing MAGA. What is the mechanism he uses to do so? The military? Nope. I'm quite confident those general officers will tell him to **** off if he gives that order, not that he would. The DOJ? Same. Local law enforcement? Again, he'll get a hearty **** you. Bands of MAGA diehards? Yeah, I guess he could try but that would be easy to stamp out. Again, not that he would try.

The drama of these people is priceless.
