Executive Branch with Trump and nice majorities in the Senate and probably the House too (as of this writing, GOP needs 4 more, and marxists need 13)
This is where things usually go south though and we're reminded that the people we put into office don't work for us.
We've been here before in 2017. Here's how that went
The GOP House & Senate seemed unprepared for what the agenda should be if they controlled Congress & the White House.
The democrats still set the agenda and incredibly, republicans HELPED them pass the $1.1 Trillion omnibus spending bill that increased funding for several DNC priorities, had no funding for The Wall, maintained funding for Planned Parenthood, and they failed to end Obamacare.
This was continued with the 2018 $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill.
Incredibly, the GOP also helped the democrats with their bogus Russia Russia Russia claims and allowed a special counsel to be created full of democrats while Jeff Sessions recused himself just two months after Trump took office, crippling Trump for most of his first term.
So... How will the GOP snatch defeat from the jaws of victory this time?
Appoint Cornyn Senate Majority Leader?
Allow the dems to set the agenda again?
Miss this opportunity to remedy the illegal alien disaster?
Forget to pass election integrity laws?
