She'll just claim fraud again. Except Trump won't be there to back her up because he doesn't care as long as he won.powerbelly said:
Hopefully this will be the defeat that finally gets her to go away.
Agree, but I still think AZ is acting more like a purple state. They are making such "tweaking" of the count plausible, and that's why they don't get as angry about it as if the same thing happened in Alabama.aggiehawg said:The patterns between 2020, 2022 and 2024 are very clear. She may have objectively won, or objectively lost, but if so it was by a margin that is its own verdict on who had alienated. Its a purple state, for all intents and purposes now.TexAgs91 said:
It took AZ this long?
Did she lose? Or did she "lose"?
At the Maricopa County Counting Center, mail in ballots from Runbeck kept appearing every night post election for ten days. Each night the workers were told they were almost done only to have thousands more show up the next morning. When asked how many ballots were still outstanding, no one in charge of the counter center knew. And that would be an easy fix, just call Runbeck and ask. They had both lists, how many they sent out and how they had received back and scanned.
Yet for the next two elections, they never did that. Under Help America Vote Act, enacted in 2002 to remedy the issues in 2000, states do have to meet minimum standards to receive federal funds. Maricopa County does not meet those requirements primarily due to outsourcing to private entities with zero supervision.

Something is off in her election. About 38,000 ballots only voted for Senator. They didn't vote for any other candidate, including President? That needs to be addressed.

Can someone explain her lack of appeal, without name calling? I'm trying to understand why someone so articulate keeps losing.

She's a moron and was a horrible candidate. She would've been a liability in the senate anyways.

What? It's totally normal to take days after an election to tally up the votes. Been that way for every election this country has ever had. Hasn't it?
Any Gallego supporters who read this and cannot absolutely refute the points in it should just keep their traps shut.aggiehawg said:

Three elections in a row. DOJ, under Trump can get involved in investigating and subpoena everything, including Runbeck. Then DOJ actively monitors their elections especially in Maricopa County for the next three cycles.
I said it in another thread but she didn't get her ass kicked by Hobbs. You can yell election denier or whatever but she was up by 11 points heading into 2022 election day against her opponent that was in charge of overseeing the votes.Gaeilge said:
100% agree Gallego is awful too. But the fact that the AZ GOP put her up after the ass kicking from Hobbs and AZ election denials made her toxic. Also, she's a party flip flopper.

Hate it, but it's because she doesn't get support from independents.
If it's that simple then plaese explain how Trump won in AZ and a Trump sycophant did not against an open borders total loser.policywonk98 said:
Lake was not a horrible candidate per se. Certainly not more horrible than the two Senators they will now have next year.
Lake was horrible in light of the AZ GOP and Independents, many of whom were connected to McCain.
Unfortunately Lake early on and often in her political career crapped on the McCain aspect of the GOP.
I despise nearly every major aspect of McCain and his legacy.
I have hopes that Trumplicanism has the impact of killing off many aspects of the McCain strands of the GOP. So far so good.
But in Arizona. Right after the man dies.
It's not smart politics to crap on McCain and his legacy.
It was not smart Politics for Trump and it was certainly not smart Politics for Lake.
It's that simple.
And yes, Arizona should be ashamed and embarrassed of their election system. It's stupid and it makes them all look stupid. Is there corruption? Maybe. Probably. But regardless, the system sucks and everyone in Arizona should be shamed into forcing their leaders to get their crap together.
The strategy of get on board MAGA or GTFO seemed to work pretty well across the board execpt in this race. Well, and except for Bob Casey.Deputy Travis Junior said:TheCurl84 said:

Second, she went out of her way to insult Republicans and independents who weren't firmly in the MAGA wing, which is really stupid strategy.

What happens when the outstanding vote count goes up everyday after the election.
So, Donald Trump got 150,000 more votes than Trump-backed candidate @KariLake. Lake got nearly 40,000 more votes than Kamala Harris.

BUT Dem. senate candidate Ruben Gallego got 45,000 more than Lake? And he got 80,000 more than Harris?
Somebody make it make sense. 🤔 pic.twitter.com/ipb015U0cx

Green Party and libertarian received 30k votes in presidential election. In the senate there was Green Party candidates that received 60K votes. No libertarian senate candidate
That's flat out bizarre. Are they Baylor grads?powerbelly said:
