Unfortunately McStain ain't dead and gone. His wife Cindy is extremely wealthy and the Chairman of the McCain Institute which exists to promote "democracy" around the world. Cindy has a lot of influence in AZ especially since she inherited one of the largest Anheuser- Busch distributors in the US. Need I say more.

It's a low populations swing state w/ more than 60% of its population in one county; attacking the old guard Republicans is more costly there than it is in a state the size of Texas, where regional and ideological factions are part of the game. Her M.O. wins Twitter likes from people in other states who can't vote in AZ, but it's not the way to win a local election.

I'm afraid in their jubilation of the Trump victory, the RNC let their guard down with Lake. McConnell didn't lift a finger either. It was their "McCain thumb down" to Trump.

Lack of introspection is a losing formula. The Democrats default to claims of bigotry and racism in election losses instead to looking in the mirror. Republicans for some reason have defaulted to fraud for every election loss instead of looking in the mirror.

One of the funnier parts about people claiming fraud here is that they have to convince themselves that the AZ "cabal" or whatever felt like it was more important to cheat in a senate race that wouldn't have an impact because the GOP was already going to flip WV and Montana pretty easily, but not also cheat to keep Trump out. God forbid people just admit she's a bad candidate and has continually shown to just be a grifter trying to make as much money and fame as possible.

I hope you're better at the weather than you are political analysis. A 4 seat majority is not a lot especially when Murkowski and Collins vote with the democrats frequently along with about 5 others who cant be trusted. Every seat counts.
