So?
People in TX were cold!!!!

He should've been here repairing the power grid. That's part of his damn job as our representative to the US Senate. C'mon, man!

At the very least he could've put on a hard hat and stood in front of a camera to comfort us.

Funny how supposedly there was "fraud" that Lake lost but somehow Trump still won. "They didn't cheat enough" still doesn't explain the vote difference between the two. A percentage of independents will split tickets, it happens in every election.

Yep. One of the funnier parts about people claiming fraud here is that they have to convince themselves that the AZ "cabal" or whatever felt like it was more important to cheat in a senate race that wouldn't have an impact because the GOP was already going to flip WV and Montana pretty easily, but not also cheat to keep Trump out. God forbid people just admit she's a bad candidate and has continually shown to just be a grifter trying to make as much money and fame as possible.

I hope you're better at the weather than you are political analysis. A 4 seat majority is not a lot especially when Murkowski and Collins vote with the democrats frequently along with about 5 others who cant be trusted. Every seat counts.

Sure, but more or less important than the presidency? So much so that they wouldn't even attempt to steal the election from Trump while they were at it? Does this really seem likely to you?

I get that but our elections here in AZ are so slimy that the national news doesn't capture half of it. Hell, the county recorder, a Republican, formed a PAC specifically targeted at Lake. Not to mention he is on record as saying he would do everything possible to keep her from being elected. I think it very unlikely that that people voted for Trump then voted for Gallego or no one at all. Interestingly enough, the local Phoenix news this morning still had the race not called but Gallego's lead suddenly increased about 20k votes which to say the least was unexpected.

Love this thread! It's a who's who of the TDS crowd who assured us Trump was going to get his ass kicked and the left wanted him to be the candidate because he's the only one they could beat. Forget they tried to bankrupt him, lock him up and tried to kill him, that was all just psyops to get him to be the candidate. Now that Trump has taken a dump on their heads, instead of disappearing back into the landscape, they're back to dump on Lake to try and salvage some semblance of street cred on here. They'll jerk each other and gloat about how brilliant they are, look in the mirror and say, "I am an attractive person, I'm fun to be with, I'm smart and doggone it, people like me".

That was rather incoherent.
If you consider that incoherent, then you are not a smart person. It's an obvious read.

Sure, it's easier to connect the dots when you're missing a few. The problem is that you don't get a picture at the end.
The dots are not hard to connect for anybody with an IQ above 30.
That's Doctor Vegetable to you, thank you.
94chem,
That, sir, was the greatest post in the history of TexAgs. I salute you. -- Dough

My guess is that the microscope on the Presidental election was so overpowering that they knew better than to cook the books on that race.

Gallego/Lake? No one was watching that race near to the extent. So they took the win they could get.

Basis for my rationale? Why are there thousands more votes in the Senatorial race than the Presidential race? That goes against decades of historical data on general elections where POTUS is on the ballot.

ETA: Actually, I should amend the above statement. Trump/Kamala DID have more votes overall than Gallego/Lake, but Gallego had over 127K votes more than registered Dems in AZ. Also over 38K votes that were Senate race only. Finally, Gallego is also not without serious baggage. I find it hard that so many Republicans would "hold their nose" and vote Trump, but then elect a solid Dem with a dubious past to the Senate.

But it's all on the same ballot.
