They feel the state doesn't protect them from injustice, it just protects itself, and Kamala Harris has completely ignored the issue, handing Trump the White House, the Senate, and the House, justifying it only by thinking "we're right and he's wrong".

5) You can't just run on sunshine and lollipops and not being the other guy. If she's not going to do anything meaningful, then why vote for her?

Jonathan Pie is a flaming liberal, and I hate most of his policy positions. But he is the only one on the left that I have found that is willing to speak the unadulterated truth about the problems with the Democratic party. Even if his purpose is to destroy the GOP, he is such a breath of fresh air, that I can't really get enough of him.

Putin is a brute and a bully, but he's not dumb. A promise to keep Ukraine out of NATO paired with a genuine threat from a scary fellow bully and brute might just be the excuse he needs to exit this war and claim victory. Ukraine not being in NATO was a stated goal at the beginning of this, he just overestimated the military capabilities of his armed forces after all the innovation that has happened in the world since 1950.

I am hopeful.

Anyone who can get the Abraham Accords pushed through should not be underestimated when it comes to foreign policy.

Point #4 is all you need to read, it is something JD Vance writes about extensively in his book Hillbilly Elegy. When people believe the American Dream is dead, that their chance to achieve their dreams and improve their lives is gone, that is a problem. Trump said we're going to make it happen for you, Kamala said "you're ignorant racists clinging to your guns and religion", and then cackled. That's the election in a nutshell.
