Can't they get some big loaders and dozers in there to at least clear paths in there for 4x4 or offroad capable heavy trucks to get to more isolated areas? I know bridges and crossings will be an issue as some of those valley/canyon roads cross rivers and creeks multiple times and now some bridges are gone, but as far as roadways and fords, they could make a third world type passable path for now and rebuild it properly later.
They have done this in many areas. No one is going to wait for people when **** needs to get done.
Capable rednecks aren't going to wait for limp wristed government pencil pushers who hate them to try to solve their problems.
Amen. It's the spirit and know-how that explored, tamed, and built this country. In times of trouble, it's often the capable individuals and groups in private sector that fix the immediate problems.
Government is slow and inefficient and it gets amplified in moments of crisis. A few Americans with talent, motivation, and tools can move mountains. Despite the left's best efforts to drive rugged individualism out of our culture, it's still there in flyover country.
