I know most of you guys are being facetious, but for those of you who are not, look at the big picture. This sheriff didn't do this for his daughter - he did it for himself. That's because any father with any sense would know that after going through this his daughter would need his love and support. Now his career is over and his fortune will go to his defense. Will the mother be able to shelter, feed, clothe and educate the daughter? This was a selfish honor killing, not an act of righteous justice.

Cop has been charged with murder, correct?
The backstory about what the judge did or did not do relative to the Sheriff's daughter may be ruled inadmissible by the judge. Frankly, I would expect it to be inadmissible, absent some type of diminished capacity defense and even then would be severely restricted, IMO.
I wasn't asserting it was true or not true. No idea. But in any event, absent a conviction on the subject, in my legal analysis, it would be inadmissble anyway.Captain Pablo said:aggiehawg said:

Where are you seeing anything about this supposed backstory? I've tried to find something about it, and I have found nothing. The only reference to it is OP saying it. At least that I could find.

If true. The Kaintuck got his revenge.fc2112 said:
So what you see on X now is that the judge was having relations with the sheriff's daughter who is 17 or 18.
So pedo doesn't seem to fit.

Why I mentioned some type of diminished capacity defense. Don't know Kentucky law on the subject but that's a very difficult defense to prove and seldom successful.Quote:
Oh I suppose it's possible that if something like that was revealed to the killer moments before the shooting, one could argue, adequate provocation, heat of passion.

Saw somewhere that it is 17 for a person in a "position of authority" and that there is a 10 year age difference limit for 16 and 17 year olds. Also saw rumors that there was coercion involved or that another deputy was involved in the judge's quarters...but nothing from a reputable source.fc2112 said:

16 years old? A junior in HS....yeah that's creepy and absolutely wrong and if true he got what what's coming to him from the father....but it's not pedophilia.
I remember posters waiting for Emma Watson to turn 18 so she could show her boobs in a movie.

Molested the sheriff's daughter.
And OP needs to come back and post where they heard the info leading to them making this claim in the post.

Saying the daughter was molested?
No there aren't. You made that up.
Not "messing around." My understanding is that the judge groomed her and was raping her.

Three pages in and I still can't find any facts around pedophilia. I'd need a lot more than an emotional kid telling me some guy messed with them to warrant killing a person. If this is what happened then that hothead sheriff not only killed his career, he's removed himself from his child's life. That's a first degree murder charge and for good reason.
If my daughter told me this information, I'd be collecting a lot of info prior to handling it the right way where I could be involved in the process rather than be lugged off the jail. Emotional decisions rarely work out well for everyone.

Predictably, Kamala surrogate Governor Andy Beshear, who previously said he hoped a family member of JD Vance would get pregnant due to r*pe, has come out in support of the judge.
Our country has no place for child r*pists
