We (conservatives) are starting to look really foolish.

I think we need to accept the fact that Trump is not going to win. Harris is up in all of the polls, she's starting to gather huge crowds, and the MSM is doing everything in its power to push her across. Trump simply cannot win another general election. He is entirely too hated. Plus, he just refuses to change. He won't listen to advisors, won't prepare for debates, won't shut the **** up about stuff that doesn't matter, and continues to step on his own dick. Harris has to be the weakest presidential candidate of all time, and has a record of absolute patheticness…and is still going to win.

But instead of accepting that, we are putting our fingers in our ears and saying "nuh-uh", "polls are rigged and fake" or "lol, just wait till Harris implodes at the debates!" None of that is going to happen. It's entirely wishful thinking. The one thing the right is not doing however, is forcing Trump to change by NOT showing up at his stupid rallies or ending campaign contributions until he changes.

I honestly cannot fathom how he ****ed this up. He survived an assassination attempt and ended Biden's political career…only to lose to the most unqualified, idiotic, vapid excuse for a candidate imaginable.

Republicans are completely outmatched and will continue to lose in perpetuity. The left is sooooooooooo much better at politics than we are, and when you add in the MSM, Hollywood, illegals, the courts, etc., it ends up being too much.

If America survives this next four years, Republicans are going to have to do something dramatic to stay relevant. Populism didn't work, true conservatism (DeSantis) was rejected for more carnival barking, and it's only getting more bleak.

I don't know what the answer is, but this ain't it. There is zero excuse for losing this election. Yet here we are.

End universal suffrage or the masses will vote us into socialism and then communism. Letting every idiot vote was the real issue. They outnumber us. It is just math at this point.

Most of the polls now are fake. Trump will lose if unchecked fraud in the key states is allowed, otherwise he will win

How long until early voting:starts? I just have a hard time believing most people are excited to vote for her. It will come down to how well Trump gets his base out.

One thing I will say, Trump talked tough on the border and did his best to deliver. Paul Ryan and the squish R's hosed him. Washington DC is the problem, not Trump.

Dumb-sh*t-ocrats are the biggest problem. They are the true personification of "Idiocracy".

Trump will be who he is, the media is evil personified for covering for the d's all these decades.

If we had an objective media - well, if "ifs and buts were candy and nuts".

But is it? Voter rolls are badly maintained and deliberately inflated in many, many states, all according to the plan from lefties at ERIC.

It's been nearly four years of my sounding like a broken record about how screwed up our election laws and entire system truly is. Cannot outsource elections to private entities nor NGOs like states have with no supervision, accuracy tests, auditable trails and zero open records allowed as to what those private entities were doing.

I really wish I had been completely off base and going down the wrong rabbit holes. But I wasn't.

Just like recruiting. Been saying it for years. It's harder to "just win" when the largest sports media campaigns have a monetary interest in pumping your rivals. If you don't think that has an effect on recruiting I have a bridge to sell you.

Can you believe that Biden was such a terrible candidate that almost any D replacement will automatically outperform him by 4+ points ?

I knew that once Biden was replaced it likely meant Trump had already lost. I think Biden is the only candidate that the Republicans could have beat with Trump as the nominee. I will vote for Trump and hope he wins, but I'm not oblivious to the fact that the odds of a Republican victory are low with him as the nominee.

Even if Trump wins. All it may do is slow our destruction down just a tad. We are too stupid and godless to survive.

Yes. If every single citizen voted like American Idol, instantaneously from their living room, there are more takers than makers. They currently outnumber conservatives.

Now, it is still possible to have greater turnout than them and still win, but they have a re larger potential legal voter pool.

No it won't. That's the problem with politics being completely about 'sticking it to the dems' or 'sticking it to the GOP/MAGA/Republicans'. The democrats don't care how vapid she is because she's not Trump and she's younger than Biden.

I truly don't trust polls at all.

What I don't know that it will come down to is
A) to what extent can the Dem machine cheat. They will and have zero moral qualms, I just don't know the magnitude
B) how many people who'd never admit to voting Trump for fear of being ostracized will vote for him
C) how will Gen Z show up and how many of them will vote Trump
D) are black or Hispanic voters significantly different from previous elections

I won't be shocked either way in November.

Nothing. Which is my point. Only a small minority of voters care about issues anymore unless it's to point out how the other side screwed up.

I suspect the candidate and the quality of the campaign he/she runs still matters a lot.

I think we need to see a GOP party that doesn't have Donald Trump as its leader and see how new candidates and approaches play out before jumping off 'elections are rigged' cliffs. We are in Year 12 of Trump running the GOP show - and the GOP's success winning on election day (not just for WH but congress as well) during that era has been a mixed bag.

Either in 2025 or 2028 the GOP party is eventually going to move away from Trump to new leadership and campaign approaches.

If you are going to let the media choose the president, then what is the point of elections?

Perhaps we might get a better leader if delegates were chosen who could actually vet people for the job and know them personally.

Maybe this college of electors should be appointed by members of state legislatures? A body where individual citizens could have an opportunity to meet and know their representatives on a more personal basis.

If you knew that your state legislators were choosing the people who choose the president then local and state races would be the primary focus of voters.
Since state and local governments have more influence on our daily lives, we would be better off focusing on those elections rather than national elections.

Just an idea that I heard about many years ago.
