That opportunity presented itself on stage, when it was said. Instead of an immediate recoil and pushback from JB, he laughed at the line. He's apologizing now because of the bad press it has created for him and his brand. Nobody get excited by this. The UAP is a joke. It has been registered as a party on and off in just the last few years.
