As my BIL who spent years in special ops and now works in military intelligence told me: even an 18 year old grunt two weeks out of basic would not have made that type of critical error.

What has to be kept mind by these congressional investigations. We all got punked before by the DOJ. Remember the FOJ fed Alexander Smirnov and the all heralded 1023 form only to build up the case against Hunter and then the DOJ turns around and indicts Smirnov for 1001 and 1519 violations blowing the Republican investigation out of the water and leaving everyone with s*** on their faces.

I don't know what's being played on the legacy MSM outlets, but when I've done a google news search anytime in the last week the Trump assassination stories are like 5 down from the lead. "Joe is in vs Joe is out" has garnered many more times the coverage of the attempted assassination of his political rival. It's like they're hoping to just let the actual shooting, repeat - actual freaking shooting & not just an attempt, of a former POTUS and current presidential election nominee cycle out of the current storylines.

You holding a rifle and move it an inch in the direction of leveling it at a cop and your ass is immediately shot.

Presence of a weapon + opportunity + overt act in furtherance of using that weapon gets your ass shot.

I hear you. It's almost impossible to reconcile. It's shocking and difficult for me to chalk up to incompetence.
That being said. Those SS agents around Trump and behind stage are still very much in the danger zone and at pretty elevated risk of injury or death, and the ones near him did rush to him as shots were still being fired.
It's hard to believe they knew there was a shooter with a gun about to shoot and were still just standing around and willing to possibly be hit.

True….but do you think there's a tiny but greater than 0% chance he could have had some help or that some security holes/vulnerabilities could have been intentional? Because, if you think there's at least SOME small chance any part of this was intentional, you're a "conspiracy theorist" to a lot of people. I personally think only a fool would think it was impossible.
