My point is you're not going to see a short fat man because they have rigorous standards for male SS agents. Thanks to DEI these standards were lowered for women. So the whole question about how he would feel about seeing a short fat male agent is entirely moot.

Its not moot. The OP felt bad for poking fun when he shouldn't feel bad at all. If it had been a man we all would have mocked the agent even more and probably not felt bad afterwards. We both agree she wasn't qualified to have the job.

Allegedly the man in the gray suit.

Trump is at the podium speaking. Sniper #1 gets up from his position. Moseys on downstairs to have a chat with the guy on roving patrol. Meanwhile the shooter bear crawling on the roof directly above them. If he'd have opened up the door that went out to the roof he probably could have shot the guy offhand.

But Sniper #1 goes downstairs on the backside of the building to talk about Crooks; where he at and where he went.

Meanwhile Crooks out on the roof. Crooks shoots Trump in the head and gets off a few more rounds. Kills one other person and injures others.

Who knows why they inside the building with an obstructed view. Maybe they wanted to be in the A/C. We just don't know. Maybe they didn't want to open the door to the roof and let the A/C out. We just don't know that either.

Just about the time you think this story can't get any wilder; it does.

People on here probably pulled a lot of duty but this don't sound like anything we ever heard of in our life.

• This never smelled right from the beginning. My initial gut hunch was this was an intentional "slip"…and the more evidence that comes out, the more it seems that way.

• Imagine the chorus if this had happened to Obama in his re-election campaign. IMO, it's either the most incredible coincidence of gross incompetence or it was intentional ineptitude. Pretend to be unaware of the threats and see what happens.
• And remember, the Intel community hates Trump. They stood up Crossfire Hurricane two seconds after he was elected to destroy him. That's OUR government. Shorting the market:

• This should be the simplest way to find out who's behind this. But again, our government will miraculously not understand why that should be investigatedor they'll find excuses as to why they can't 'legally' do anything. And again, what would they be willing to do (or the MSM) if it had been Obama up on stage.

God's plan:

• I didn't see it live. I was dealing with a funeral and wasn't in a real frame of mind to jump much. I just heard that Trump was shot at, but that he was fine. First thought was "they finally got at him." The timing with Biden flaming out at the debate and the charade coming to an endit was going to force somebody's hand. I originally thought they'd off Biden, but I think his family was highly motivated to make sure only the trusted assets are around him. So they go after Trump…and boy, the more I see the minor little head shift and the bullet whizzing by it's a miracle he didn't get his head blown off. In fact, I think we were all supposed to see just how close he came to reaching the end. Interventionnot sure I'd call it that. It was always God's plan.

Biden Stepping aside:

• I wonder if this whole episode made any impact on the Bidens playing hardball and then finally relenting on a second term. Was there a photo of a bullet and "46" delivered to them somehow?

I also can't imagine a commander ordering a sniper off their post for any reason, and especially while Trump is at the podium.

A guy being off post or ordered off post for 5-minutes while Trump is at the podium is inconceivable. It's incredulous to think thats what actually happened. So thats got to be some bad information. Maybe the timeline is inaccurate or someone fed the Senator some bad info. There's got to be some other explanation for this or we looking at bad info here.

I think this going to go down as the craziest event in this century so far, and we will never get answers just like the Vegas shooting. They will just blame it on incompetency, poor planning, etc when it seems like statistically it would be impossible for so many things to go wrong for this to happen without it being intentional.

True….but do you think there's a tiny but greater than 0% chance he could have had some help or that some security holes/vulnerabilities could have been intentional? Because, if you think there's at least SOME small chance any part of this was intentional, you're a "conspiracy theorist" to a lot of people. I personally think only a fool would think it was impossible.

I was talking more about the second shooter in the trees or building behind him (THOSE WINDOWS DON'T OPEN!!!) and third shooters (beyond the return fire from the SS) and the zip line from the water tower conspiracy types. Also, the continued "locals saw him on the roof, told the nearby police and the police did nothing" crowd. People keep posting the same false narratives over and over, and getting corrected but then they get posted again.

I would not surprise me in the least bit if there was some willful disregard for Crooks walking around and sub-standard staffing of the security detail in the hopes something like this might happen. But then still have some plausible deniability such that no one gets jail time or any consequences for the failure (IE: We followed protocol set down by our superiors). Or even he was getting some indoctrination online or help outside of doing this by himself.
