Agreed on this issue.

If you reading this and struggling to keep up then perhaps this thread isn't the best place for you.

There is no arbiter of truth here.

Nobody knows what the hell is going on with this. You arrive at the truth by fleshing it out and scrutinizing it.

Thats what happened with the photographer.

Somebody posted a theory, we heard from some experts and the issue is now resolved. That's the deliberative process working.

Trying to pick and choose whats relevant or might be relevant is the same as people forcing others to call them by their pronouns. In other words the majority bending over to accommodate the needs of a few.

If folks can't keep up you got infinite other options. No reason to pee in the sandbox.

I dont think they're struggling to keep up.

In fact, I think it's the opposite. The frustrated posters are able to flesh out a ridiculous theory/talking points much sooner than others...but have to sift through pages of meritless speculation, instead of discussing new facts, etc.

People who want to be therapists are often…messed up (ah, the Soprano's…). And let's face it, therapists also often encourage the use of SSRI's, which I think would be a very useful data point…we won't be given any time this year/ever about Crooks.
Therapists usually do not have an opinion on medication, that is the job of a psychiatrist. In America they did to be too eager to prescribe brain rotting drugs that can cause a lot of harm and often turn people into zombies. There is research out there about the link between mass shooters (non gang/cartel) and SSRIs. In the case of this shooter, I would like to know if his parents were simply therapists or if they had the power to prescribe medicine and/or they pushed medication on him. I also want to know what he was on. A good therapist is neutral about medication but some are over zealous and really push their patients to see psychiatrist for meds instead of putting in the work to heal from trauma and work through the struggles via diet, exercise, and strategy.

Yea, I think it's a little humorous that the trans picture and subsequent derail (which is not verified and has no source) came from a longhorn.

How typical.

It would explain the hair though.

Who shows up to congratulate their team on a job well done while the job is going on?

Especially when that job is security and you've just had one of the biggest security failures of all time earlier that week?

You don't call your truck driver and congratulate him for delivering the load safely while they are still on I-70 crossing the rockies in February.

Another factual example of how we are completely detached from reality with all this.

This is the same staff that propped up the Covid 84 forum for far too long and had a very heavy hand against anyone who was guilty of speaking the truth "too soon" or questioning many of the very wacky decisions and conclusions of 2020 and 2021. But Covid-Karens like "Bayfan" could call my 5 mo pregnant wife (who had already recovered from Covid months before) an "idiot" for not getting the experimental "vaccine". I flagged and reported and it was never addressed (I never flag stuff, but that pissed me off and I had been banned over there numerous times for just questioning things).

Anyways, that is who is making these types of decisions here.

Twenty minutes eyes on the perp.

Yet they allowed the former POTUS on the stage to speak and give that idiot a free line of fire.

Things like this contribute to the thought that something much more sinister is going on.

makes me wonder if very young adults like the shooter are starting to see trump as a status-quo just-another-politician since he's been around for half their lives.

And when they are taking those pictures nowadays and hit click on the high end DSLR camera they bring, it takes like 10 or 20 in a row I believe. I think, but could be wrong, the camera even uploads images to the cloud (over time) automatically to be edited later, so they also aren't limited by the onboard flash storage even at this point.

Somewhere there's some written rules of engagement.

And somebody had to sign off on those rules of engagement.

That should be question 1 and 2 at any hearing on this.

#3 would be to look at the rules of engagement as it pertains to Trump and look to see whether those rules changed over time.

That they ostensibly watched the guy set up for 20-minutes while on the phone with DC is incredulous.

No

When you are a woman secret service head it means one of three things

A you're the baddest woman on the planet because you're basically taking the job of a soldier

B you been moved to the front of the line and it means that you will return favors whatever is asked

C you sucked a lot of ...... To get where you are.

Aren't the cops and secret service supposed to be watching for suspicious people like this.

How did they not assign someone to shadow this guy.

It's inconceivable.
What's more amazing is nothing has been mentioned about them even confronting him or inquiring about the range finder. That's a level of fail beyond incompetence.

I don't know. It was not illegal or prohibited to bring in. It only looks bad after the fact.
clearly incorrect

the fact he had a range finder led the Secret Service and Law Enforcement, as incompetent as they were -

to discuss him and try to take pictures of him and follow him. for more than an hour they were looking around for him as a suspicious figure
I agree the range finder put him on their radar initially. That is documented. However, I'm not so sure it was a prohibited item.
Trump will fix it.

I rarely say that about your posts but this is probably a fair assessment.

One could easily argue that trump struggled to do anything during his time in office because of the ridiculous amounts of pushback he received from just about every angle. All the impeachments, media, political pushback, agency pushback etc is not status quo for "just another politician" ...

But that's all irrelevant because kids wouldn't remember or be exposed to that information.

And there absolutely needs to be some form of demand by Congress or whomever is in oversight, for the communications between whoever was in charge in Butler and their DC superiors. Because the 20 minutes time indicates at least two massive failures:

  • Getting Trump immediately out of harms way based on the potential danger
  • Engaging the suspected shooter either with gunfire or sending someone up on that roof that isn't a local cop and getting him off of there.
