Yeah that's kind of weird looking.

This is an absolute failure by the Secret Service. Normally, I know they're very good and plenty of them were, but that was a line of sight building. I don't even know how the hell they missed it and then you added the people screaming about it. I'm sure it happened very quickly and lots more to come, but they are going to be some firings and there should be.

This shooter was sitting on top of the ONLY BUILDING. And it was a 9 iron away from Trump.

Yeah he was outside the perimeter… on a rooftop.

From what I could tell, there was pressure from a lot of the networks to hear something/anything from law enforcement. There had never been an official statement that it was in fact an assassination attempt (now they have it). Just too early to get any other info.

I'm in shock and I feel like I did on 9/11. I realize 9/11 was an attack by Islam, but the left's attack against normal God-fearing Americans is just as shocking to me. The media and the democrat politicians might not have pulled the trigger, but they were standing right behind the gunman. Trump says that it is really us that they are after and he is standing in their way. He literally is doing just that.

This is a huge failure or something worse. There is no justifying this.
You can't take an eyewitness assessment of time literally, It seems as though the perimeter was left to local cops, and not very heavily manned at that. Witnesses pointed out the guy on the roof, local guys radioed it in, but counter snipers couldn't see him from their perch behind the stage as he was hidden from their view (but not from people along the perimeter) behind the reverse slope of the roof until he raised up to shoot.
A cop on the ground should have immediately shot him. If not, a security detail is worthless.
