This thread went about as expected. Four posters actually responded and all be but one were berated and called idiots. Never change, f16. Never change.

As op asked…why? What is so great about Biden that you would do that? The more likely question that needs answering is why do you hate trump so much? Specific reasons and examples please.

There are voters who quietly hate the military, the US constitution and believe men can menstruate. They will continue to vote Biden.

Well I'm not sure I believe you, as it is really hard to just "sit it out" when the time for actual voting arrives. But I suspect there are quite a few voters (like you) from both sides thinking the same thing. RFK Jr may get more votes, or there may simply just be lower overall turnout.

If you can't accept the truth when it staring you in the face because the whole concept of truth has been purposely distorted from all directions and trust levels have dropped into the basement, we have a much bigger problem that can't be solved with an election.

What in the heck are you talking about. The truth is staring me in the face? I just said that I wasn't sure I believe you'd go through with not voting for one of the two major candidates. I also ventured there are probably a lot of people like you. How in the world is that "ignoring the truth"?

I will vote for Biden, but it's the GOPs fault because there are very few people that would make me vote for Biden. My ultimate objective is to get the GOP back to a sane and healthier place post-Trump and that only likely happens if he loses. But it doesn't matter because I don't live in Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, or Pennsylvania.
There are folks who have to rely on others to discern colors….then there are others who can not discern politics and end up voting for the things that they complain the most about.

Just take any complaint offered up by a Biden voter against Trump and that complaint with some sig multiplier is applicable to Biden.

My favorite claim by Biden supporters is the believe in a Republic Democracy, they support the military and the constitution……..then without taking a second breath start bleeping nonsense about Trump.

We all know who these posters are

Yup. And you can't reason with them. They will stand behind their "principles " and "morals" and make a decision that leads to everyone being worse off, but at least they can sleep soundly at night feeling that they are righteous. Some will say that they don't live in a swing state so it doesn't matter, and some will say they're playing the long game where they want the GOP to be burned to the ground and rebuilt in a perfect, more conservative fashion.

They think they're being principled in their decisions, but they're just too foolish to understand the consequences of their actions. Sometimes adults have to make hard choices, not just the one that makes them feel the best.

I have voted Democrat in six straight Presidential elections (voted Libertarian in 1996), of course including voting for Biden in 2020.

I will not vote for Biden this year.

Why? In short, Biden has failed to deliver on the implied promise of basic competence, dating back to the Orwellian "Inflation Reduction Act" and the disastrous fall of Kabul.

And far from moderating the worst impulses of the woke left, the Biden administration has acquiesced to divisions of society on the basis of who is allowed to claim victimhood. (The government, of course, decides who is and is not a worthy victim.)

And lastly, RFK Jr. is a lunatic moonbat, but he's absolutely right: employing the Justice department to try to jail your political rivals is a more insidious and greater threat to democracy than Trump's stupid Capitol riot.

If you told me in 2020 that I was going to vote for Trump in 2024, I would have laughed at you. But here we are.
Respectable take.

Well done.

That's not how math works. What a wasted vote. Doesn't your vote mean anything? Your vote is valuable. Vote for something otherwise don't vote.

Quote:

CNN host Fareed Zakaria said on this week's broadcast of "GPS Sunday" that the criminal charges brought against former President Donald Trump in New York City were politically motivated.

Zakaria said, "Trump is now leading in almost all the swing states, but behind those numbers lie even more troubling details. As someone worried about the prospects of a second Trump term, I think it is best to be honest about reality. I understand that polls are not always accurate, but in general, they have tended to underestimate Donald Trump's support, not overestimate it. I doubt that there are many shy Biden voters in the country."

That is something people tend to overlook. No shy Biden voters except for on forum 16.
Quote:

He added, "Republicans seem to be uniting behind Trump. Whatever opposition he faced in the primaries has largely melted away. And the trials against him keep him in the spotlight, infuriate his base, who sees him as a martyr and even may serve to make him the object of some sympathy among people in general who believe that his prosecutors are politically motivated. This happens to be true. In my opinion, I doubt the New York indictment would have been brought against a defendant whose name was not Donald Trump. A majority of Americans are skeptical that Trump will be able to get a fair trial according to a CNN poll."

America largely prospered for four years under Trump. And America has largely suffered under four years of Biden.

Nothing else matters. It's a simple decision. But clearly, there are still some (insert word for people that make repeatedly stupid decisions) on this thread.

Somethings not quite right with "Jeeper79". Either his parents threw him in the air and forgot to catch him while a baby, or he has been brainwashed and dipped in some sort of illusionary doctrine to trust in the political establishment. This isn't an election for personality plus, this is about saving our country from Marxist/Commie nuts. There is only one choice to that end. Trump!

Wow, might be the first person ever on this board to honestly declare this.

There should be 80,999,999 others, but we dont really hear from them.

Odd, don't you think? For being the most popular President in the history of our country and all. Very few will proclaim that they actually voted for him, even the really ******ed ones.

It isn't the GOP's fault you are a biden voter. Take personal responsibility. I doubt many believe that anyone who votes for biden really has the objective to "get the GOP back to a sane and healthier place."

Does it not also seem odd to you that Donald Trump got 5 million more votes than Barack Obama in 2008? Except for Biden, he got the most votes in the history of the country by a substantial amount.

If you make it really easy for people to vote, many of them do. This isn't rocket surgery.

No, it's no one's fault but yours. You are not very smart if you vote for Biden.

He's not very smart either, and hasnt been his entire life, but now he very clearly has dementia, so you voting for him is even more inexcusable.

But yeah, whatever ghosts you are scared of will still exist after Joe is dead in like 2 years.

He's the only incumbent president to gain votes (a lot of them) and lose.

And if you dont think there's anything strange about that, well, then you're a democrat.

The idiot you voted for didnt even attempt to run a campaign. and yet still got he most votes ever. Interdasting.

It's amusing how many of you believe that you can draw a valid conclusion with an n=1.

But you love it, dont you. Because it got your dog**** brain "president" elected.

Local lefty already proving me right. Jeepers will 100% vote Biden but he doesn't want to defend his vote for Peepaw Poopy Pants
Ive voted R my whole life with the exception of Trump, but whatever helps you sleep better, I guess.

God he even does the full classic Concerned Moderate bit! "I've ALWAYS voted Republican my whole life! Please ignore literally every post I've ever made on this board where I do nothing but goalie for Democrats!"

The opinion of some rando in a message board such as yourself carries no weight in my day to day goings on. The thing that does take up head space for me is that the die has already been cast for this cycle, and no matter who wins, we all lose (and likely not by a small margin).

With one of the choices, we will be much better off in terms of the border, inflation, the economy, taxes, energy independence, and on many other levels. Even you biden supporters know which candidate that is. But whatever helps you sleep better, I guess.

Another amusing thing is why Trump is going to win this election (which he will).

Hint: it has very little to do with what people on F16 want.

Many. What's your point?

I'm sure that there was a whole lot of cheating going on, on an individual level.

Previous restrictions made it slightly harder to cheat, for morons. It was not that hard in the first place, in most jurisdictions.

For example, my ex-wife's mother requested an absentee ballot in her name and voted for her in 2004 in Florida (for GWB). Was that, technically, a felony? Yup. Did anyone find out about it, or care? Nope.

Doubtlessly, many people on both sides voted on behalf of their demented or otherwise incapacitated relatives in 2020. What has not been documented is any actual evidence of a bias in favor of one side or another.

Youre severely disillusioned if you think this country would be better with 4 more years of Trump. I understand the anyone-but-a-D voters and I understand the he's-all-we-got voters.

But MAGA voters really screwed the pooch when we had other (better) options in the primary. Now no matter who wins, we all lose.

And as a non-MAGA, I'm capable of saying such things without resorting to name calling or questioning the mental capacity of people I don't agree with. Or at the very least, I have the self-awareness and decency to not say it out loud. You're only proving my point for me on why Trump sucks. Congratulations on being the perfect represent for him, though. You sound just like him.
