That would be an interesting ticket, gotta say.

I might vote for them if it feels like they could neck it out, family is a little close with Rodgers but haven't met him personally. He seems to align with much of my views, at least what I've seen of him so far.

Would solidify the Joe Rogan/stoner vote block. I could see this being a component of the commie plan.

Again, he wants to disarm his subjects, like all Democrats.

Aaron Rodgers went to Berkeley, don't forget. That kind of stain on the mind is pretty severe.

You think the board that likes to brag about who watches the "dying, woke NFL" the least might miss an NFL reference?

The main issue is that RFK Jr. can't get his message out / big state media only sucks off Trump and Biden at this point.

America is a great place where we have democracy, like not providing RFK Jr. with secret service and tuning candidates in and out if they don't fit the narrative.

RFK just another clown in the show, dude can't even speak. Not surprising he would pic a couple of midgets for his clown car.

I would love this ticket and would vote for it.

but no way this happens. Rodgers is not going to give up playing football to campaign for Vice President! this is just to raise clicks and money and media.

Who in their right mind would want Aaron Rogers one heart beat away from the presidency ?

This speaks worlds about Kennedy's judgment and fitness for office.

I would vote for RFK/Rodgers over any dem or Trump. Pretty sad both parties are so successful at brainwashing their sheeple to marginalize any 3rd option on the menu.

Link?

I've only heard him say he would sign gun bills that made it through both chambers of congress. In other words, he is defering to legislative branch to legislate laws.

Aaron Rodgers isn't just some dumb jock. You actually have to be pretty intelligent to be a successful NFL QB…just ask Vince Young. Also won Celebrity Jeopardy (yeah I know, tallest midget) and did pretty good on as a guest host as a tryout to replace the late Alex Trebek.

plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose

Quote:

Curiously, RFK Jr.'s indication of his support for an "assault weapons" ban came not too long after he declared at a New Hampshire town hall that he would not confiscate firearms.
At the New Hampshire town hall, RFK Jr. stated, "Anyone who tells you that we can end the violence to our children that's going on now by removing people's guns, in the margin that has been left to us by this very expansive Supreme Court decision [Bruen] is not being truthful with you."

RFK Jr. made similar anti-firearms confiscation remarks in a discussion with billionaire magnate Elon Musk. He commented, "My position on gun control is that I'm not going to take away anybody's guns. I'm a constitutional maximalist and the issue has been settled by the Supreme Court."

Dudley Brown, the president of the National Association for Gun Rights, commented on RFK Jr.'s remarks:
Quote:

"RFK Jr. is talking out of both sides of his mouth. You can't say 'I'm not going to take away anybody's guns' to Elon Musk and then turn around a couple of weeks later and say you would sign an assault weapons ban, it's a bunch of hogwash."
At the end of the day, RFK Jr. is a candidate for the Democratic Party, a thoroughly anti-gun political entity. In previous decades, the party could at least count on several rural and working-class constituents to give it somewhat of a pro-gun base.
Banning mean looking guns is not a trivial thing. Black rifles matter.

You proved my point. RFK does NOT personally want to disarm Americans. He is basically saying he will leave it up to the other 2 gov branches to hash out before it comes to his desk.

I don't like that about him. I would like to hear him say he would veto any assault weapons ban or 2A infringement. But it's still not fair to claim "he wants to disarm us".

The right pushes false narratives that he wants to disarm, and the left pushes false narratives about him being anti-vax. We see this every election cycle, and it's remarkable how effective it is at keeping a 3rd head off the big debate stage.

Ok, sure.

Anyone who wants to ban some set of guns for looking mean 'if other people think that is a good idea' then I just intrinsically don't trust their judgment.

I don't think this is what is keeping him off any debate stage, either. In fact, I am not sure we will see the potatus take a debate stage this year.
