This is not AI. The photo is not fake. And it is known that Kate is an amateur photographer. Not everything is a conspiracy.

AI can't generate fingers presently. This is the product of at least some partial AI and some partial post production adjustments.

Kate's hand placements for left and right are both too high...it would mean her shoulders are out at 90degrees from the body for this picture which is highly unlikely for a series of pictures...

The metadata for the photo shows when it was taken, what kind of camera it was taken with and when it was edited in photoshop. It really isn't AI.

Spot on. A beautiful mom edited and released a photo of herself and her family. AP once again proves that they are shallow and unserious as a preschooler. Kate is the adult in the room.

Good Lord.

The photo was altered (obviously), and newspapers have historically gotten into a lot of trouble for using altered or fake photos. Thus, they pulled it, pending further info. It would've been irresponsible to do otherwise.

Now that they know the story, I am sure the photo will be back up again.

Good Lord. They took the photo from an official source, Kensington Palace. Don't be so pretentious. I don't need to chill because I'm not upset - I'm calling it as I see it - the AP overreacted to nothing, which they should have known. I don't know who gets the AP "in a lot of trouble" but if someone criticized them all they had to do is respond and state that the photo came from Kensington Palace. Then they wouldn't be "in a lot of trouble".
