This, I will treat you with utmost respect, like I would any person. I'll even pray for you behind your back, because I'd imagine it is tough. The line in the sand is when you proselytize to me or my children or try to share bathroom with my wife or daughter. Then you switch from potential friend to enemy.

it is sad, no doubt, and we should be angry that it even happened, but if we are going to cater to mental illnesses and to children on such things where they are way too young to be making these kinds of choices, we have to assume these horrible events will occur.

they are either children or they are not. we should not be letting them make grown-up decisions unless we are willing to accept the results of those decisions.
