90% of the dating advice the world (as well as this thread) has to offer are absolute garbage. Stay away from the women who are after chads if you value your happiness.

If you're looking for a quality woman, money and good looks are overrated. What's most important is being kind, having a good sense of humor and being a man of conviction. And when you find a quality woman, be bold and straightforward. I know many men who have married women who are way out of their league, including myself, with that same formula.

Another good tip is to be involved in a co-ed activity that doesn't revolve around drinking. Church is the best.

Nothing to be surprised about when the world is falling apart with all the garbage ideologies floating around.

Girl power has consequences. Telling girls they can achieve anything is great; but females are also looking for a man that can take care of them (in one way or another).

There is a major problem in boys becoming real men. Males have been destroyed for innumerable reasons…
…obesity epidemic,
…fatherless homes,
…raised by women at home and in the classroom,
.,,video games instead of being outdoors growing up,
…soft role models,
Etc, etc., etc.
Most females want their husbands to step up, be real men, be leaders in the home. It's not all the ladies fault. We have a man problem too.

The guys getting degrees and/or Masters/PhDs in things like computers, engineering, or medical always had girl friends. Everyone else was sorry out of luck. Even some the guys who were getting those high $$$ potential degrees still didn't if they weren't good looking enough.

This goes in line perfectly with how women view 90% of men as unattractive. I don't see how this will work long term. We know marriage rate are plummeting and that divorce is initiated by women 80% of the time.

I'm married and have two sons and I immensely worry about their future options all of the time. I know they aren't likely to look like Chad Thunderc**k in large part because they won't be 6'5" even if they have good genetics elsewhere. I won't have to speak to them about this topic for a number of years but frankly I have no idea what I would even say. I don't want to blackpill them immediately but I won't lie to them either.

The internet has given me women the infinite fallacy of choice and destroyed the ability of men to find someone on their level. The end result is that both will end up alone.

That made me laugh and there is truth to it but its not the whole story.

I am reminded of the study that has been replicated many times of women being shown pictures of a men, and each pic has a made up occupation for the man. The women are asked to rate the men on a scale of 1-10. And the same pictures are shown to different groups of women with only the jobs being changed.

The score each group of women gave each pic was almost entirely linked to the job description and not the pic. Because in groups where a pic got "garbage man", the pic was rated low. Change the pic's job to lawyer and suddenly it was rated high.

The same thing was done with men and we don't care about job title. We rank women as highly attractive even if you list unemployed or garbage collector as her occupation.

I would say this is great news for men. Don't be a loser and you will be ok.

Sex after three dates has been the norm for decades. I've had relationships where I waited longer and I think the woman thought I must not have been that into her and it got weird.

This is how it's always been, but with technology it's clearly on massive steroids and having a much bigger impact on the mental health of people "looking for love". Much like porn, people are probably getting desensitized to a decent looking person but thinking "oh there are way better looking people out here".

I don't worry about my son. He was raised correctly, has a sweet, smart, and somewhat (but not overly) ambitious gf, and they're happy together. It's been hinted that engagement is on the horizon.

My concern is my daughter, who's attractive, athletic, Christian, very ambitious, financially independent, career-oriented, family-oriented, any a lot of other great qualities. But … she won't shut up for a moment and rambles non-stop about her friends and colleagues who run in the same snobby-ass Dallas well-to-do circles. So fricking obnoxious. And, yes, she's a UT grad (undergrad and law).

Does anyone have a son (in his late 20s or early 30s) who's up to the task of possibly taming her (just a little bit)? P.S. - I will be this man's biggest cheerleader. I'm not the issue. Her mother my ex is. The guy will need to practice saying phrases like "stay in your lane," "that's not your business," "I don't recall asking for your advice," and "I have a mom and dad, and we'll spending some of our holidays with them."
