I know they've got Travis Kelce on the KC Chiefs pimping the Pfizer shot and they're still pushing las vacunas on the Spanish language channels I follow.

I've got one of my direct reports who called in sick today because he said he's feeling ill after getting his latest Booster for the Vid. I assume this is just an excuse to take a sick day which you don't even need a reason for anyway. Our employer doesn't require it.

In October 2023, 3 1/2 years into the thing, why would anybody be getting a Covid Booster? Who is still requiring this?

At Walgreens last week, there was a long line of people waiting for the shot.

One guy kept requesting the 'heavy duty shot they normally give to people over 62". I have no idea if such a thing exists, but he was going to make sure he got the strongest of all the shots.

One lady was asking if she was going to feel bad again. Last time she was sick for 4 days, got the Covid Rash and had the chills for a week. That sounds worse than most people's bout with Covid these days.

With all the info that's out there, even in mainstream media now, it amazes me people are still on board with this. At best, it's useless. It doesnt stop spread and doesnt keep you from feeling sick (it actually makes you feel sick). At worst, it's causing blood clots and heart issues in otherwise healthy people.

Covid and the vax was so politicized that a lot of people are "dug in". They've invested too much emotionally to question the massive overreaction to Covid and how unnecessary the vax is for most people. I say this as someone who did get the vax when it first came out. I thought I was doing my part to put the pandemic behind us and return to normalcy. I never got a booster because by then it was obvious that it was unnecessary and didn't even work as advertised.

I think so many people not getting vaxed or boosted actually hastened the end of the pandemic as it became clear there was no "Winter of death" and everyone but the most stalwart Covidian conceded that Omicron was not a serious threat.

I agree it's sorta a joke at this point, and probably 95%+ of people getting the vax or masking are doing it to virtue signal or whatever.

But there are still plenty of people with compromised immune systems, cancer, etc. where the risk/reward leans in favor of the vax.

As a cancer survivor myself, having gone through 4 cycles of chemo in 2018 and watching my blood levels (low neutrophils, rbc/wbc counts, etc.) the flu or covid would've been a real challenge.

Now, as a healthy 46 year old, I would never consider getting vaxed.

They might have been there for the flu shot, which just became available.

And there is a high dose flu shot for older people.

Nope

My fav is how many people say "Don't get the stick!! Too many side effects! Pureblood" and then they get ozempic to lose weight and are all good with the possible side effects. To be fair, these people drink White Claw.

While it's a limited sampling, my friends and family that have been vaccinated have caught covid several times more per a person than the ones that haven't been vaccinated. All of those that have got the jab have had covid at least twice. Some of us that didn't get it have yet to come down with covid. YMMV

What blows my mind is that this crap has never been completely tested yet it is still being allowed to be used. Every other medicine/vaccine has been required to go through 5-10 years of testing to determine if it is actually safe. Things like Cancers and organ damage often take years to develop and to show themselves.

Is this stuff still being used on an Emergency Basis ? ? ? Why ? ? ? What is the Emergency ? ? ?

The shots are known to cause negative efficacy after a few weeks of getting them so the more shots one gets, the more likely one is to be susceptible to the WuFlu.

One would be better off taking vitamin C along with quercetin & zinc. For good measure, if one can get it, some Ivermectin.

There is only one of the WuFlu shots that went through all mandated clinical trials, and that was the one released earlier this year by GSK. They went through all of the EU required trials before approval even though they didn't have to. So far, it has been shown the be the safest one with a very low occurrence of side effects outside of the usual like injection site pain, fatigue, or mild body aches and fever for a day or two.

And just for the record because someone will inevitably accuse me of it; I am not advocating for anyone to take the shots. If someone wants to; that is their right.

Why would anybody get a booster?

The lies of the CDC and government have been outright exposed.

The shot makes you more likely to get covid and has more of a risk to you than not receiving it.

a - Class of '49, you're certainly retired by now, or at least not punching a timeclock
b - I assume you haven't gotten sick for 1-3 days after all of your previous booster shots

That's the part I really don't understand with some of these folks like my direct report today. He's gotten sick every time he's gotten the booster, so he keeps getting more boosters and keeps getting sick every time.

If the true interest of all of this was for the health of Americans, they should have more publicly broken down who suffered major illnesses or death due to the original Wuhan virus.

It seems like a great opportunity to guide the country to a more healthy lifestyle(ie - lose weight?) after the plague passed somewhat. Of course that would have been mean to the heavier among us, so nope that's out.
