I hadn't considered the intelligence gathering aspect. From the Wall Street Journal….."The attacks also exposed the identities of thousands of Hezbollah operatives, many of whom worked covertlya coup for Israeli intelligence and a likely surprise for some Hezbollah members' relatives and neighbors."

It also said Hezbollah is actively procuring prosthetics for the injured. I wonder if thought to take advantage of that supplier.

This. Why would someone be randomly videoing of there wasn't some kind of other action going on? Odds are they hit a rocket cache or something.

A secondary from hitting a rocket cache would not send that kind of shockwave across the sky. Whether it was the first or a later hit, that was a large explosion.

I am no expert by any means but the way the sky lit up, with visible shockwaves. Atmospheric detonation?
