According to Wiki, the R-160 is a syrian made, chinese designed rocket also called the M302. Supposed to only have a range of 100 km, but supposedly the Palestinians have increased it to 160 km. This should be a HUGE wakeup call. Israeli's should threaten to topple their oppressive government if they do not allow for easy access of weapons for defense.
They don't want to make it easy for palestinians to get weapons within their borders. Not every Israeli is a Jew, and some would certainly sell to terrorists so they wouldn't have to sneak them in. It's a consequence of their proximity to evil

Was going to post this as a response but the false rumors about the northern front took over the thread for a minute. There was a post about "Palestinians" in general. The Palestinians are not uniform.
Before they elected Hamas, the PLO under Yasser Arafat was in leadership. The PLO is a collection of Arab groups who advocated for a two-state solution but were less violent and more willing to engage in diplomacy with the Israeli government. They also believe in secular government as policy. Hamas prefers a far more violent approach and are islamist to the core.
There is a power split in Palestine. Fatah is the PLO group running the West Bank. Note the lack of violence there. The arabs/palestinians who live there are generally much more moderate although there are absolutely elements of islamists there too. They just don't get nearly as much support from the local population.
Note that when I say less violent it doesn't mean the PLO did not engage at times in violence. However, much of the terrorist activity under their leadership was likely committed by people outside of their control.
