If the PA mouthpiece is going after Hamas like this, it means that the PA no longer feels threatened by Hamas.
Sounds like PA is jockeying to be the new authority in Gaza.

Will the PA be renouncing their public policy of paying Palestinians to murder and maim Jews? I would go after them next. They are Hamas Lite.

Emphasis shift to targets in Syria, Iran's influence is taking the biggest hit. The IDF don't play games.

I think it is kind of like the mop up operations after a major wildfire. There is still combat going on between Israel and Hamas and Israel and Hezbollah, but the leadership of both terrorist groups has been neutralized and the majority of their major stockpiles have been destroyed. So I don't think there are "major" breaking newsworthy developments happening like there were previously. As was said above, the major news now is Israel's moves in Syria and what Iran's loss of the connection to Hezbollah via Syria will mean for the future of Lebanon and by extension, northern Israel.

impressive. israel is probably one of the most well-honed militaries operating in the world right now.

Really they have been recognized as such (by the rational world) since the '67 war. Excellent leadership, solid training and courageous soldiers.

My personal opinions aside...from a pure geopolitical standpoint Israel is in the best position they've been in decades. Probably since Six Day War. They've routed their immediate enemies inside Israel and in Lebanon. And now they've taken out Syria's ability to project kinetic attacks against them with the Jaloni saying he wants to be friends with Israel while cutting off Lebanon from Iran.

Obviously remains to be seen on what actually happens in Syria over the next several weeks but Israel leadership has to be thinking to themselves that hitting back from Oct. 7 has resulted in about the most optimal outcome they could imagine. If you can get Lebanon back to near what it used to be with Hez mostly out of the picture then you've just re-established another sane country in the ME to boot.

You left out how Israel eliminated Iran's air defense system in it's entirety, ensuring they won't be stepping out of line for a few years.

Kinda shocking, 30 jewish citizens of Israel arrested for spying for Iran.

Hamas managed to launch about 4 rockets apparently, toward Israel (did no damage). First time in a while I believe.

This IDF response to the October 7th atrocities has exceeded any and everyone's imagination. (Probably even the Israeli's).

The history and non-fiction books written about the last 15 months is going to be a great read.

Strike by strike, how Hamas carried out October 7 atrocities in Israel - and how the Middle East is now on the brink of all-out war | Daily Mail Online

This interactive map and chronological facts beginning the morning of October 7th, 2023 is incredibly detailed. It's not propaganda, it's factual with supporting evidence. Imo, it will help give more detail of this conflict and region for others that are not familiar, like me. It's worth your time. You'll need more than a few minutes and use of a mouse to scroll down, but well worth your time.

It only got quiet because I don't want to be the only one posting every single day.

but yes to answer your question there is a ton of things going on

with Hamas prisoner negotiations, (trump threatened hamas that they better release the hostages before he takes office)

ceasefire in Lebanon,

Israel bombing Syria with 1,800 munitions earlier this week,

and gearing up to strike Iran

How long will it take gear up for a serious move on Iran? There seems to be a window of opportunity at the moment.

The Israelis could bomb them immediately, at any moment, if they wanted to. They have a multitude of strike plans drawn up, really only waiting on approval from Uncle Sam to ensure we have their back for any retaliation from Iran/Yemen/Hezbollah.

The skies are effectively completely open for them over Syria and Iran. Would most likely fly directly over Syria and skim the northern Iraqi border before entry into Iran.

But they have time because the Syrians and Iranians won't be able to rebuild their air defenses anytime soon. And the Israelis have already demonstrated a sophisticated ability to avoid some of the "most advanced" defenses in the world during their April and October strikes even if the Iranians bought some new Russian systems in the meantime.

I would be willing to bet a nice steak dinner that they strike Iran before the end of 2025, with that timeline moving left on the calendar if Iran begins a serious nuclear break out.

Noticed that Sarah Adams commented that 10/7 was chosen as the anniversary date for when W launched operation enduring freedom and authorized carpet bombing targets in Kandahar.

Some consideration for those (not that there are many here) who see the Israeli effort vs. Iranian proxies as 'not America's problem.' More on the podcast with Shawn Ryan of course.

I hope it was a russian ammo dump full of russians. Putin is simply going to redeploy them to the UKR front anyway.

Russia was behind schedule in getting that ammo/weapons cache loaded onto ships, so the Israelis "helped" them with that problem.

I have been praying for this for 20 years now.

if EVER there was a time to strike the Iranian nuclear facilities it is right now before Trump takes office.

it obviously seems to be that Netanyahu believes the IDF is not strong enough to do it

meaning they do not have the capability to actually eliminate the Iranian facilities at Fordow built into a mountain.

really Israel will be in a MUCH WORSE strategic situation if Iran gets a bomb- it's literally worth 10,000 casualties to save 1 million people in a nuke strike.
