I need to research his ACTIONS in private sector.
If he's real then he could be my #1 but I'm Team DeSantis and then Trump until I know otherwise.
I'm tried of Boomer politics so give me young fresh blood.

"I am a Christian and so will only vote for a fellow-Christian" is so 1950s. The world has moved on and become less racist and less intolerant. I see so many caucasians and Christians supporting Vivek. That shows America's modern thinking.

Vivek has responded directly these attacks many times.
a tweet from april 2020 about masks
a scholarship in college that had soros name on it
WEF putting him on a website
he's got great explanations for all of those half-baked attacks on him.
most recently he was attacked for a comment he made on 9/11 and he had a great explanation for that too.
Yeah, not much into politics...there are clearly far more important issues in the real world. Trust me.NPH- said:lol, how is this the first you've seen of his name on this forum? it's literally posted 1 out of 8 threads. Get away from the aliens and back to the real world man!!Aztec1948 said:
This is the first I've seen the name. I like what he is saying. I don't think the DEM will let up.
Did you listen to his sweet talk though? His tweet about buying masks in 2020 was because he was skeptical of fauci's flip-flopping and telling everyone not to buy masks and the timing lines up. The couple grand scholarship he got when he was 19 or 20 yrs old - he had applied for many scholarships and didn't know who Paul Soros (not George Soros) was and never met him or had any contact with him. The WEF put him on a website without permission and he asked them to remove it because he didn't want to be associated with them. He's very quick and smart so he could just be BSing his way out of anything, but he still doesn't come across as a globalist George Soros or Klaus Schwab stooge in disguise as his attackers are trying to paint him. He seems to have a genuine vision for America that is good for Americans.FL_Ag1998 said:oh no said:

Exactly, he's got the gift of gab and can sweet talk his way out of any position that he's taken in the past. He's a born politician!
Republican 2024 White House hopeful @VivekGRamaswamy recently denied ever supporting a Bernie Sanders bill to use taxpayer dollars for free COVID-19 mask handouts — despite calling it "sensible" at the time in 2020.https://t.co/ugDqM9AeUN

Vivek is not a Christian, he's openly Hindu.

I don't think he's an AOC in disguise, but I think all that he is right now is talk. Literally, that's all he has. And talk is cheap, and he can say literally whatever he wants. Could he pan out? Sure. But there's already a candidate in the race who's running on virtually the same platform as Vivek (who actually starting running on this platform before Vivek swooped in with catchy slogans) and actually has verifiable results to back up his talk. In fact its not talk for this other candidate, he's been living it and walking the walk since waaaaay before Vivek woke up one morning and decided he wanted to be President.
I keep hearing "Just listen to this speech"....talk is just that, talk. Simply hearing more of it doesn't make it any more substantial.
Vivek is great until you actually look under the covers and realize that he is mostly great at sounding like he knows what he is talking about but doesn't. He's already been proven wrong on several of his big statements he has spoken about with confidence. So he is either naive or he is a snake oil salesman that knows he is lying to you.Gigemlaw01 said:
I was a Trump voter the last 2 elections. The first time I wasn't sure about it, but was a never Hillary voter. If you're of a similar bent, pay close attention to Ramaswamy. The more I hear him talk the more I like him. As a bonus, we's pretty inoffensive. I'll vote for Trump again if he's the nominee, but we could use a break from the drama of reality TV politics.

Yeah, that guy is just a Trump shill who likes Vivek because he is not challenging Trump but instead going after Trump's opponents for him.Aztec1948 said:
that's where the Obama comparisons are coming from. great orator. gift of gab. a nobody to celebrity real quick based on smooth talking, hitting all the right buttons with all the right words. ...but where obama's socialist smooth talk was empty "hope for change" without much detail, Vivek's revolution talk seems to get very detailed and specific - from foreign policy to permanent government bureaucratic reform.FL_Ag1998 said:

Vivek is being sued by 2 former employees, who allege they were pressured to violate securities law
— John Hasson (@SonofHas) August 18, 2023
One plaintiff's attorney says Vivek's firm “was founded, in retrospect, largely as a PR mechanism for the presidential campaign of Ramaswamy”https://t.co/JBvgQBjMla
Quote:
But two former employees have filed lawsuits in recent months against the investment firm as well as Ramaswamy and his co-founder Anson Frericks that suggest practices at the company were something less than that. They accuse Ramaswamy and Frericks of aggressively pushing employees to violate securities law and of mistreating staff. They also suggest that the company has struggled to meet lofty growth goals for its "anti-ESG" investments.
Christopher Lenzo, a lawyer for plaintiff Joyce Rosely, said the two suits raised questions about Ramaswamy's seriousness as an asset manager. "Not a lot of thought was given to running it as an investment firm."

Vivek has a checkered past that not many people have taken the time to investigate. He was all on board with COVID shutdowns and made money hand over fist bc of it. I think he has served as Trumps attack dog on DeSantis to drive interest away from RD. I have serious questions about his true background/core political beliefs. RD is a known commodity that has been elected for multiple positions and is a proven winner

Which of the candidates is the least tainted by DC? Which one is the least deep state oriented?
Depends on what you like. DeSantis was in Congress for 6 years but was a Founder of the Freedom Caucus, voted 99.36% Conservative, and held himself to term limits of 3 terms. His record as FL Governor is the most conservative and anti establishment in modern history.Aztec1948 said:Ah...I had forgotten Dasantis. The thing that is most revealing about Vivek's pronouncements is that he hasn't spent any time actually understanding these issues. He just says what he thinks sounds good and he can sell.

Lol, ok, you had us going for a while. You did good because you slow played your troll act. But you just couldn't help yourself. You refused to leave the table while you were ahead. And now you've blown your cover. That's ok, just re-up with a new sock and try again in a couple of months.
