We all recall how Obama came out of left field..thoughts on this fella?

Tucker interviews him here.
"I have been told that we have recovered technology that did not originate on this".-Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence-Chris Mellon

“Behind the scenes, high-ranking Air Force officers are soberly concerned about UFOs. But through official secrecy and ridicule, many citizens are led to believe that unknown flying objects are nonsense.” Former CIA Director, Roscoe Hillenkoetter, public statement, 1960.

Only way Vivek wins is if the dems take foot off gas on persecution of Trump.

This is the first I've seen the name. I like what he is saying. I don't think the DEM will let up.

I was a Trump voter the last 2 elections. The first time I wasn't sure about it, but was a never Hillary voter. If you're of a similar bent, pay close attention to Ramaswamy. The more I hear him talk the more I like him. As a bonus, we's pretty inoffensive. I'll vote for Trump again if he's the nominee, but we could use a break from the drama of reality TV politics.

Obama came out of left field because the overlords wanted him to. MSM would do anything for him. Vivek ain't gonna get that luxury. I'll vote R no matter who it is....

It is very odd to continue to hear the comparison to Obama. He's nothing like Obama. His policies are nothing like Obama's. It's strange, anyway, great interview. I can't wait for the debate soon.

Obama burst on the scene when he won the his Senate bid in 2004, after making MSM types pee in their panties as he spoke at the DNC. He was beloved right away and when he ran in 2008, he killed Hillary early on because she's a terrible candidate/person.

Vivek is nothing like that, but he is a breath of fresh air. In the end, this is all about Trump having too many followers to be defeated in the primaries. If he ends up having to drop out for some reason, I'm fairly certain DeSantis will be the choice over anyone else in the GOP field. If that happens, Governor Hairgel will finally get his call to come running in from the bullpen to energize the MSM voices and libs in this country. Once the Vote Creation Machine and Operation gets rolling again in Milwaukee, Philly, Atlanta, Phoenix, and Las Vegas, it'll be really tough to see the Dems lose.

if anyone is familiar w David Pakman you may know him as one of the most sophisticated establishment talking head tools on youtube. he is really good at what he does. knows all the rhetorical tricks. evasive and shifty af.
Pakman screwed up and interviewed Vivek on his show, and Ramaswamy just mowed him down like I've never seen anyone do.

That may change really soon. Vivek is right on his heels and even overtook him in one other poll. I think after the debate and more folks are able to hear him speak and articulate his policies, Desantis may drift further. Time will tell.

Vivek has a checkered past that not many people have taken the time to investigate. He was all on board with COVID shutdowns and made money hand over fist bc of it. I think he has served as Trumps attack dog on DeSantis to drive interest away from RD. I have serious questions about his true background/core political beliefs. RD is a known commodity that has been elected for multiple positions and is a proven winner

This guy is a breath of fresh air. Something the party needs IMO. I don't follow politics all that closely and I had never heard of Obama until things got rolling. For me, the dude like just appeared magically. This guy I had never heard of either. But I'd bet Tucker had him on for a reason. I like Kennedy sorta too. Says he against abortion, but how can you stay in the party that supports it?

Show me proof that Vivek made money off covid. that's quite the allegation without proof. Please explain his "checkered past". If we are going to sling mud, at least be clear about what you are slinging.

Do you mean Vivek overtook him in the one poll that Vivek paid for?

That said yes there's still a lot of time and anything can happen. Vivek certainly has the potential to continue an upward push. He has the gift of gab for sure. I'd love to see a race without trump in it whatsoever and it's strictly between Desantis, Vivek, and maybe one of the others like Scott. That would be a truly positive hopeful race about the future of the party and the country. And I actually believe most of the Republican party would like to see that happen too it's simply Trump's ego and MAGA adoration that's keeping that from happening.

Well that we can agree on. The focus should be on America first, not piddling over Trump and Biden.

Agreed.

And honestly my biggest issue with Vivek is his track record, or lack thereof. What is there indicates someone who has come into this conservative, turn-the-leftist-woke-tide, very recently in his life. If he's legit, great, we need more like him. But as of right now he's simply a man in his 30's who had a kid which changed his goals in life, so now he's done some online research on how the governmemt works and he wants to be the President. And he has the money to run, so he is.

Its a win-win for him. In the 1 in a million chance he wins great, now he's President. In the more likely chance he loses, its still great because now his name is out there for what I believe is his true, more realistic goal of running for Congress. And that's a better starting point for voters to truly see what he's like once he has power in his hands, and a chance for him to truly learn the workings of the machine he wants to redesign, not just what he's read about online.

I don't need someone who's been in government since they ran for H.S. class president to be my President. But 2016-2020 showed me I want someone with at least a modicum of knowledge of how to operate in the world of government.

The media has been pushing Vivek and Chris Christie. Before this, it was leftists pushing RFK because he has spoken out against the vax.

None of those choices are what 99% of the conservative base wants. Clearly a political move.
Tibbers
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Yes, I'm aware that's your main hang up with Vivek. Well the debates should clear up quite a lot on that end. More exposure for all candidates is good for all. May the best man win. A big reason why Trump failed was who he surrounded himself with and appointed to cabinet positions. I think Vivek may have picked up a point or two from Trump's blunders. The main difference is Vivek wants a revolutionary approach to dismantling the deep state. Trump pointed out the enemy but went for reformation and you just can't reform something with cultural rot. Another lesson Vivek learned from Trump. So to say he doesn't have experience is a bit short sighted.

I like what Vivek is saying a lot. I have seen his interviews with Jordan Peterson and Patrick Bet David. I'd recommend both. No question this guy is smart.

The issue is I like what Desantis has accomplished a lot. While I think Vivek does a great job of articulating conservative values, he just doesn't have a record of putting those values in action. I suppose Trump didn't either and ended up accomplishing quite a bit so, who knows.

I am curious about others experience on this: I almost feel as if the YouTube algorithm is pushing Vivek. His interviews always pop up on list while I see nothing from DeSantis. Is DeSantis running that bad of a campaign or am I/we being manipulated by a shadowing of DeSantis content?

Agreed on this. Clearly its a well known fact that there's a lot of manipulation these days via the media sources, traditional as well as social media and Youtube. Manipulation by government, companies, people, and the media itself. It'd be naive to believe that the "Desantis is in the gutters" storyline and the "Vivek is rocketing up in the polls and voters opinions" storyline are purely organic and aren't manufactured at least to some degree by someone somewhere. To believe those narratives are 100% straight and organic would be the same as believing there's no manipulation in how Trump's indictments or Biden's failings are presented by the press and social media.

This isn't quite true and if you listen to Vivek, who is out there joining tons of podcasts and doing interviews everyday, he has responded directly to every attack that has been made against him.

Since TRM helped me out linking his company to COVID money, here's a link showing his connection to the Soros family (since Always Trumpers have been tying RD to Soros for a year). Vivek being recognized by the Paul Soros Foundation. George Soros' "silent backing" older brother

Vivek has responded directly these attacks many times.

a tweet from april 2020 about masks
a scholarship in college that had soros name on it
WEF putting him on a website

he's got great explanations for all of those half-baked attacks on him.

most recently he was attacked for a comment he made on 9/11 and he had a great explanation for that too.

But it shows that he goes with the popular opinion of the time and doesn't have core beliefs. How many candidates in the R side stood up to multiple presidents, media, popular beliefs and have been proven right? One. Ron DeSantis. He lead from the front, even disagreeing publicly with Trump on COVID by sticking to Conservative principles. Vivek doesn't have the same track record. Yes Vivek says nice things and has great answers but to me, he is an Ivy League smooth talker who hasn't stuck around to lead long. He doesn't have any track record at all

Yes, the debates should be fun. I am not sure if Trump is participating, I thought I read that he would not. Not sure. Vivek's communicating skills are miles ahead of the rest of the crowd so should get a big boost with national exposure.

The Dem side is probably the most uninspiring ever.
