Interesting he called out blackrock etc. as actors/allies in the socialist-Dem cause and Elon noted it. This isn't 'breaking news' I realize for most, but it's good to have attention called to it.

I like him. I would vote for him if he were somehow the nominee. I just think DeSantis is the better choice. That simple.

Thanks for proving that I have listened to Ron, but you haven't listened to Vivek. All it takes is a short time to learn policies from both. Ukraine being a shifting battleground fails to account for the United States' strength. Do you not think if we stopped giving them billions the war would be over? As to AI, all it takes it to listen to a ten minute+ clip to learn both his position on AI and his actual plan to tackle the deep state. Who cares if something is in someone's top 3 prime topics if they have no plan to actual deal with it with legal powers given to the executive?

To his reverence of God, he talks about universal principles that exist across all religions. Again, found in that small clip I sent earlier. It's not unfounded that you have no idea as to what I am speaking without doing the due diligence (as small as that is) yourself.

I actually have a deep understanding of the Hindu relation with God and Christianity and how they compare. It's an argument Ghandi made often for instance. Hindus aren't Pagans and they don't fit neatly into either monotheistic or polytheistic categories, it's a complex religion. That said I don't really care about his religion other than I don't care for him seeming to pass himself off as a Christian in the way he talks about God. I would respect him far more if he was more open about his personal beliefs as Ghandi did so eloquently. Still none of that is a deal killer for me it just tells me that Vivek is a salesman and is very good at telling people what they want to hear.

Where does he pass himself off as Christian? He openly says that he is Hindu. He doesn't shove it in anyone's faces though. The word "god" is a general term for whomever you worship, it does not only mean the one Christians worship or Hindus or Muslims worship. I have never seen him pass himself off as Christian. If so saw that, post a link please.
He talks a lot about God and Judeo Christian values specifically. If you listen enough of course you can hear him mention he is Hindu when pressed but my guess is a lot of people wouldn't know. It's not an outright lie it's just deceptive. Once again to me I don't really care but it's also clear his intention is to gloss over it for LIVs.

Think about it, so many people in the country and even on this board are bigoted enough to not vote for him solely because of his religion. Scroll up a few pages and you will see this, even among "educated" TexAgers. So why would he go around and talk about his religion? It only works against him. I admire that he doesn't call himself Viv or something like that to make it sound more European, he was born as Vivek and goes by that. If you ask him what religion he follows, he will say Hinduism. He isn't lying to you. Good values aren't owned by Judeo Christians, they are valued by many other cultures like ancient Hindus. So what more else do you expect him to do?

The other extreme was Bobby Jindal. Not only did he change his name from Piyush to Bobby, he sold his soul in order to get ahead in politics. That explains why he fell out of favor so quickly (and that terrible performance he put up after the state of the nation speech).

Worst of all, he is a hardcore Trump supporter and close friend. And as we all know, Trump is an immoral, adulterous, fake Christian, lying jerkwad who is always attacking Desantis from the left. There is only one candidate worth voting for in this election. If he doesn't win the primary, burn it all down imo. Let the godless democrats have it...they will drive us closer and closer towards a hard reset/divorce.

In order for a true pendulum swing of national revival of some sorts to be initiated, we may have to reach much more dark and chaotic times I am afraid.

I do see more Indians at my church so perhaps the Christians from Indian are immigrating more and more are converting, which is a good thing. Christian Indians tend to be a lot more Western in their behavior both personally and professionally.

Why do you care if others convert though? That is the most ridiculous thing I've heard. And the cause for fights all over the world.

Christian Indians are not more Western. What does that even mean? Is being Western good or bad? Just calling oneself Steve or Justin does not make one more modern.

That's not true. I know more than a handful of Indians married to high achieving white women (sorority girls at that). They're about as pro nuclear family as it gets, just not the right pro nuclear family in your eyes.

I'd have more respect for you if you just said, I won't vote for a brown Indian dude that doesn't look like me for president.

Anecdotes are not data at all. The data says they rarely marry outside their race. I never said this was a bad thing for them. I applaud them for maintaining it.

Would you be upset if your kid dated or married someone who wasn't white?

Of course, I want my grandkids to look like me. Why would I want them to look completely unrelated to me?

With that said, if my kids married Hispanics it wouldn't be that much of an issue in large part because the kids still look like the parents.

Family legacy is important to me and I consider this an important part of that.

Until you have a beautiful daughter who is amazing and looks like a blend between you and your wife (who, as much as i hate to say it, happens to be from a superior race and culture to modern whites btw (Asian)). Once that happens, you wouldn't want to change a thing…but i get your mentality, having never experienced that.

Every predominantly white nation outside of Eastern Europe is committing cultural suicide and it has nothing to do with interracial breeding. They are abandoning God and embracing wickedness and making up fake "struggles". Modern whites as a whole are one of the worst and most weak and pathetic groups the world has ever seen.

White people better get their sh** together ASAP or the West is completely lost.

OT, but Europe going down the sheeter has nothing to do with God. It is to do with social politics. People don't want to be married, people don't want to have kids. So to remedy that, they import immigrants in LARGE numbers who do not fit into the culture. They are not selective and bring in good immigrants, they bring in bad ones also because they want to virtue-signal and tell everyone that they are not racists. So bad immigrants are trashing these countries, not helping build them.

Listen to his interview on Timcast with Tim Pool. He even talks about how he could get Trump on their show if they wanted. You should research this guy a little more.

I actually really like him and think he is pretty genuine and has been compelled to act in recent years after witnessing how crazy out of control things have gotten and people even tried to cancel him. But he claims to talk to Trump regularly. Would not be surprised at all if there is some type of understanding between him and Trump, with him being announced as Trump's VP if Trump wins primary.

A more Christian society would have stronger families, more children, less divorce, less corruption, less degeneracy and pretty much everything would be better.

i do believe about the backwards immigration process of wayward Western nations.

And to answer your question to the other poster, traditional "Western Culture" is completely different from "Eastern Culture". Try to sell a home or car to an Indian immigrant or first generation citizen...it's not even worth wasting the endless hours of your time while they try to nickel and dime you completely out of your commission (there are obviously exceptions, but this is no secret in that industry). Try the same with 2nd or 3rd gen, who have been more westernized, and it's very likely to be a much smoother and pleasant process. That is just one example, but certain cultures have certain deficiencies imo and judeo-Christian based ones are head and shoulders the best. As we (the West) stray from this, our culture becomes more and more trashy and degenerate.

Quote:

Earlier this month, Politico reported that Trump's former campaign chief Corey Lewandowski "has spoken with a pro-Vivek Ramaswamy super PAC about coming on board and ran the idea by the former president before doing so." According to that report, Trump, unsurprisingly, "did not raise any objections."
Quote:

According to two people familiar with the matter, Trump and Ramaswamy's casual relationship dates back to around the summer of 2021, when Ramaswamy first met the twice-impeached former president for a dinner at Trump's Bedminster, New Jersey golf club. During the hours-long gathering, the pair had a wide-ranging conversation that included Ramaswamy sometimes telling Trump that on issues such as foreign policy, he didn't go far enough with his conservative-nationalist agenda in his first term.
Still, it was clear that Trump seemed charmed by the MAGA-fied entrepreneur. At various points during this dinner, the sources say, Trump would turn to other dinner guests, point at Ramaswamy, then comment on his "energy." On top of that, the former president repeatedly commended Ramaswamy's physical appearance, telling him that he was "very handsome." (Trump has a long history of telling influential or notable men he likes how hot he thinks they are.)
Meanwhile, much of the 2024 Trump campaign's resources right now are being devoted to in their words constantly "mind****[ing]" DeSantis and his allies. As Rolling Stone previously reported, one of the reasons Trumpworld's onslaught against DeSantis feels so personal and nasty isn't just because of Trump's dislike of the governor. It's because several of the former president's lieutenants know or have worked for DeSantis, and viscerally loathe the guy to the point of craving his political destruction.

He was out right asked if he would be the VP for Trump on CNN (something he's appeared on multiple times) and he said no. I really think he wants to win. He also talks about a great way to remove illegal mail in balloting and move the needle on what it means to vote and be a citizen. Have folks actually pass the citizenship tests required for immigrants to become citizens to vote. Brilliant fella!
FYI he's nothing but a Trump plant to assist him in the debates.

Everything happening since this article has tracked for the accuracy of this piece (even though I hate the source).

So now RollingStone is a good rag? Anonymous sources can be believed again? Interesting.
It's just one more data-point to show he's Trump's puppet.

Absolutely not.

There is no evidence that he is a "hard core" Trump supporter and "close friend". Trump has NO friends. He only loves himself. We all know that.

You are just making stuff up because you likely dislike Vivek for other reasons.
No, he is a close friend of Kushner and met with Trump at MAL about a year before deciding to run.

You got better evidence than a twitter post quoting a document with no identification?
The meetings with Trump and Kushner aren't really disputed and certainly all of his actions are consistent with a guy that is running as a proxy for Trump. That's not in and of itself a terrible thing but it is a perspective that needs to be kept in mind. His goal is not to win, his goal is to damage DeSantis and to get a reward from Trump. It allows him to go pie in the sky and make wild promises because he knows he will never have to worry about delivering. I like new ideas and think he is a smart guy but he definitely has an agenda. He should be running for Senate or Governor and not President.

I don't know if Vivek is a "friend" of Trump or Kushner any more than you do. We are just picking clues that are convenient to us. Trump and Vivek are a generation apart, so I don't think they are friends. They may have met and had a conversation. Doesn't make him a friend. Even if he is a friend, then so what? What does "friend" actually mean to you?

Time will tell what happens as it looks like Trump will get the nom and has to pick a VP. Vivek says he won't be the VP so for that that's that. Will he change his mind? Maybe.

So you're taking a wanna-be politician (because he's yet to actually serve in any office) solely at his word (because he has no previous actions as a politician to judge by). That's certainly your perogative.

But if Trump wins the nomination and Vivek is selected as his VP or mentioned as a potential cabinet member by Trump, it'll simply be a matter of Vivek changing his mind at that time? There's no way it'll be proof of some sort of collaboration the whole time?

Again, totally your perogative to believe what you will. But you're saying you have 100% confidence that Ramaswamy is not playing at some kind of angle to ultimately help out Trump and get something in return.

I personally think he can win. You can tell that by his differences in policy of which he has been extremely vocal about. If he were Trump's puppet, would he not just be reinforcing Trump's policy? For example, dude said he would pardon Assange, day one. He has worked with the FDA, he knows the pitfalls there and ways to reform them.

Trump has said he will pardon Assange Day 1 (technically Jr did it for him). Of course we are supposed to forget that Trump didn't do it when he was President and nothing has changed. He and Vivek are aligned.

One of the things I dislike on Vivek is he talks about massive policy changes as though he is the first person to think of it and that since it's a good idea it will just happen. Most of the things he wants to change will require significant legislation because a lot of the bureaucracy has gotten wrapped around there. He just comes across as arrogant to me and honestly naive, he literally has no experience with this stuff. Oh, and getting some drugs approved with the FDA is not exactly significant qualifications.

I believe you when you say you think he can win.

I just don't see where he's saying anything different or special that's suppsed to Wow! me. Every single politician speaks in grandiose, sentimental platitudes like aggie93 mentioned. Every single Republican speaks in broad terms about running on American ideals. I'm 47. I'm over some slick talking shyster trying to win me over with appeals to patriotic side.

I'm a Desantis guy but I'm not even won over when he goes into his broad generalizations on fighting for the chikdren, etc. I do think most people are influenced primarily by those speeches, so I understand the need for them. But personally, give me specifics and your history. I've had the pleasure of living under Desantis so I'm very familiar with his specifics, his tenets that he governs by, his operating style, his effectiveness, etc. That's what's won me over, not some cheesy speech about "Making America Great Again" version 20.0.

In other words, politics is just Ramaswamy's latest grift. No wonder he and Trump hit it off so quickly at their dinner.
