You guys can defend this guy until the cows come home. It's part of your established MO.

Trump, Paxton, this guy. "Family values."
I just assume everything's a hoax now until proven otherwise. More often than not, I end up being right. If proven to be legitimate, then shame on him, I will judge/condemn accordingly.

I just know the left is evil and almost always lying. And that even the weaponized federal agencies coordinate to take their enemies down, and even unfairly influence elections.

Give them your blind trust though, by all means. Like you probably did with Kavanaugh, Juicy Smollet, racist windshield letters at A&M, and so many others.

This. Especially when the target is seen as someone with virtuousness because the left can count on a certain number of low-information types reading that headline and spreading it as if it was a proven fact. It's the cheapest shot in the character assassination playbook and they use it over-and-over again. In fact, if you aren't immediately skeptical of these high profile sexual assault claims, you are either a willing participant or one of those previously mentioned low-information types.
If the "perp" is a white conservative man (or woman), my policy nowadays is "believe zero women or minorities, until proven otherwise". 10 years ago I never would have imagined saying something like this. I was fooled a time or two and then quickly realized politically driven hoaxes and hit jobs are way more common than I ever realized.
