Person 1 - legally takes documents he had legal authority to possess - keeps them - indicted.
Person 2 - illegaly takes documents he did not have legal authority to possess - keeps them - indicts Person 1.

Person 2 is liberalism and anyone that votes Democrat in a nutshell.

Both had legal access to classified documents while in office and neither had the right to keep them after they were no longer in office.
Except Person 1 had the legal authority to declassify almost any document he wanted and thus retain possession.
Is there any indication that he ever went through the process to declassify the documents he had in his possession?

All we have is his whiny cries that he is a victim.
Who cares when Biden never even has the clearance as VP but kept them for years? Why should this even be an issue? It's nothing but a distraction.
Vice Presidents do not have access to classified documents?
Yes they do, but they do not have authorization to declassify them on their own.

This corrupt administration has made a really bad decision to go down this road. The long knives will be out. We're heading down a dark road when this kind of blatant hit job is initiated and the Clinton's and Biden's law breaking is ignored by the justice department.

Biden let the FBI search his house, handed over all documents willingly. Trump played games, skirted the law just as he has his entire life. Republicans can't seem to wrap their head around that simple truth. Oh well, that's their problem.
Well damn you got us there.
Now explain the 5 million Biden was paid by Burisma that the FBI and DOJ have ignored.

For both the President and the Vice President, there are established procedures regarding access after their term has ended. Neither of them have any power to declassify them at that point.

A president can declassify anything he wants simply by saying it is declassified.

He does not have to follow the process like others do. The president is the ultimate classification/declassification authority in the government. Only things specifically classified by laws passed by Congress would be outside his purview such as the designs of nuclear weapons.

I know nothing anyone says to you will change your mind. You hate Trump so therefore he is automatically guilty and because it is Trump, you don't care if they burn down the country and the rule of law just to finally get him.

Why doesn't CNN or any other leftist news station ever mention that Biden held classified documents in his garage? Why don't they talk about today's revelation of the document claiming Biden took $5M from Ukraine official? Why do they cover for Biden and continually go after Trump? I watched CNN for 15 minutes this evening and no mention of Biden's possible wrongdoings. The media in this country is the biggest problem we face.

Plain and simple. The presidency costs TOO much and the power it provides is perceived TOO valuable to "lose". When attained, it must NEVER be relinquished. Lie, cheat, steal, ? ...WHATEVER it takes.
Alexander, Caesar, Charlemagne, and myself founded empires; but upon what foundation did we rest the creations of our genius? Upon force! But Jesus Christ founded His upon love; and at this hour millions of men would die for Him. - Napoleon Bonaparte
