To be fair, there was a short window when the older variants of the virus that were somewhat more dangerous and less hyper-contagious and were closely matched to the first vaccines where the vaccines were useful as a risk reducer for older and vulnerable age categories. That didn't last very long. And we don't know what the long term damage of all those replicated spike proteins might be.

Of course, when that time was very obviously passed, and when we learned that no one under 50 that wasn't horrifically obese and unhealthy was at any substantial risk, they kept pushing it hard.

Even CDC admitted 0.006% IFR. That's 1 death per 16,666.666 (repeating of course) infected with COVID. For whataboutism comparison, fatality rate of diarrhea is 0.65%.

Correct. Per CDC, direct COVID related IFR with zero pre-existing comorbidities was 0.006%. That was also all ages including 60+.
