Great post and I am 100% in this camp. The vaccine probably helped save at risk people against Delta. Once omicron came around and infected everyone (vaxed or not) and didn't kill people anymore then the vaccines were worthless. Yet people like manhatten and STM continued to crow about how great they were. The vaccines were almost completely ineffective at preventing infection or spread.
