To be fair, there was a short window when the older variants of the virus that were somewhat more dangerous and less hyper-contagious and were closely matched to the first vaccines where the vaccines were useful as a risk reducer for older and vulnerable age categories. Great post and I am 100% in this camp. The vaccine probably helped save at risk people against Delta. Once omicron came around and infected everyone (vaxed or not) and didn't kill people anymore then the vaccines were worthless. Yet people like manhatten and STM continued to crow about how great they were. The vaccines were almost completely ineffective at preventing infection or spread.

Well it killed unvaxxed people 3x as often as vaxxed, but you are right in the sense that it infected everyone which is why fax is down to 1.8x.

Seriously post the link. I highly doubt that 300k unvaccinated people died during the delta wave because most of the vulnerable population took the vaccine and the vaccine was barely available for Alpha.

The virus, like all corona viruses, becomes less deadly over time as it mutates. It has nothing to do with herd immunity.
