Donald Trump marked President Joe Biden 's 81st birthday on Monday by releasing a letter from his physician that reports the former president is in "excellent" physical and mental health.....
a New Jersey physician who says he has been Trump's doctor since 2021 and most recently examined him in September, reported that Trump's "physical exams were well within the normal range and his cognitive exams were exceptional."....
He added Trump's most recent lab results were "even more favorable than prior testing on some of the most significant parameters" thanks to recent weight loss he credited to "improved diet and continued daily physical exercise, while maintaining a rigorous schedule."
The doctor concluded the 77-year-old is "currently in excellent health" and "will continue to enjoy a healthy active lifestyle for years to come."

Biden's reelection campaign and Democratic officials across the party's spectrum have landed on a new solution to his political slump:
More Trump.....
Behind the improbable longing for the former president to gobble up political oxygen again is Democrats' yearslong dependence on the Trump outrage machine. Since his ascent, Trump has been a one-man Democratic turnout operation, uniting an otherwise fractured opposition and fueling victories in three straight election cycles.
Now, Democrats worry that the fever of Trump fatigue has passed, and that some voters are softening toward a man they once loathed. Many others may simply be paying little attention, as Trump's share of the daily national conversation has diminished......
Biden's campaign, which has been slow to ramp up its operations, is betting that once voters view the election as a choice between Biden and Trump, who remains highly polarizing, they will set aside their reservations about the president and fall in line behind him.....
"Not having the day-to-day chaos of Donald Trump in people's faces certainly has an impact on how people are measuring the urgency of the danger of another Trump administration," said Adrianne Shropshire, the executive director of BlackPAC, an African American political organizing group. "It is important to remind people of what a total and absolute disaster Trump was."...
Several voters who backed Biden in 2020 and are now leaning toward Trump said they had not followed the ins and outs of the former president's post-White House activities and tended to discount and brush aside his past scandals....
Those sorts of sentiments have left the Biden campaign this past week to engage in its own media criticism, publicly urging news shows on network television to follow New York Times articles about Trump's plans for immigration and deportation policies if he wins the election....
"The more people see and hear from Donald Trump and what he has planned for the country if he regains power, the better off Democrats will be up and down the ballot," said Ben Wikler, the chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. "Trump's voracious need for attention works to Democrats' advantage."....
Jon Soltz, a co-founder and chair of VoteVets, a liberal veterans group, cautioned Democrats to be patient.
"There's a huge amount of the population right now that doesn't realize that Trump is going to be the Republican nominee for president," he said. "When that happens, you will see a different response."
The real danger that most Trump folks don't understand is that once that cycle starts with Trump and people sour on him again there is no coming back. Trump is literally being propped up by polls right now and polls are easily manipulated. The same Dem polls showing Trump up more than any others right now turns on him and then his already tepid enthusiasm will drop through the floor and the entire GOP ticket will go down with him.FL_Ag1998 said:

This is what many of us have been saying for a while, and here is one of the most prominent liberal mouthpieces saying the quiet part out loud.
The media is intentionally not reporting anywhere close to what they used to report on Trump, but once he's the nominee the Dems will fully push to have Trump the cover story on every paper and network in America. And there's no doubt the media will fully comply, and it won't be positive. They'll be blowing his comments like "vermin" out of proportion and context, quoting his rambling incoherent Truth posts, showing extremely unflattering recent pics of him looking old and unhealthy, and reminding every voter of Jan 6th and the trials.
Now, just imagine the Reps had a young candidate without all of that baggage that could attack the Dems on their policies and keep the focus on that.
In high school, Ron DeSantis scored in the 99th percentile on his SAT, was named the “AP US History student of the year,” and made the All-County baseball team. That combination of grades and athletic ability won DeSantis admission to Yale College.

Don't worry- the Trumpers will be on here in November 2024 blaming the following parties for Trump's curbstomping loss and total democrat party control of the government:FL_Ag1998 said:
Virtually everything out of Trump's mouth these days is a lie or gaslighting. He's everything the conservative Trump supporters on here claim that Dems are. But at rallies he makes dumb insults in stupid voices with a weird accent, meanwhile he's an online toughguy who tweets out rambling attacks on anyone and everyone.
So of course we need to elect him President.

Reality =/= polls. Sorry, not sorry.
They could at least lie a little better. I mean DeSantis has a great debate followed by huge endorsements and a multitude of great interviews and appearances and we are supposed to believe he is going backwards in the polls into Christie territory. Sure thing. Folks like Reynolds and Vander Plaats don't bet their political futures on someone with no chance of winning.Phatbob said:

Funny you should mention this. Talked with Adam Laxalt recently. He had the Trump endorsement in 22 and followed the Trump turnout gameplan to the Nth degree. By being aligned with Trump, he got destroyed in the cities, but didn’t get the rural turnout he needed to compensate. https://t.co/WO1bb2h9G8

DeSantis has 10x the volunteers in Iowa (20000 to 1800) than Trump and it's only going to get larger.
You have not only Vander Plaats and Reynolds endorsement, but people like Lance Lillibridge, former president of the Iowa Corn Growers Association, backing DeSantis. All this is going to add up in the last 2 month stretch in Iowa.

It's all relative. If you don't know what DeSantis means here, then wait until Trump wins the nomination. The media coverage and criminal prosecutions will be scaled up by orders of magnitude.
Forget Trump. This is about principles and our country. Worship DeSantis all you want but they will be coming for him next. They sued Palin out of office. They will do the same to DeSantis just because his supporters are the ones who have zero clue on how the past MSM primary loved for GOP noms, turns which they get the nom.
Only now, it will not be ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, CNN, MSNBC. It will be DOJ. Be careful what you are asking for here. This is a precedent being set.
