I'm sure this will win over independents and suburban housewives and soccer moms.

Trump continues to be his own worst enemy.

This is not the same guy who won in '16. DJT has changed in the 8 years since he won the presidency, and it is not a change for the good. I guess it's understandable when he has every left leaning DA and every alphabet agency hauling him into court on the crap cases they have, and the MSM doing everything possible to make the cases have the appearance of being legitimate; but current Trump is in no position to lead the country. He doesn't discuss the future, he only focuses on personal grudges and dwells on the past.

I feel bad for the old guy. But not bad enough to think he could even remotely lead the country again.

Wow!

Just like Jill....sorry.....DOCTOR Jill Biden should be lambasted for putting President HousePlant through the rigors of the Presidency, while suffering from deeper dementia, Melania and family of President Bone Spurs should be trying to pull him back and out of the race.

While not as bad as Biden, he's obviously suffering from dementia as well.

The big difference is he wasn't a loser in 2016. He is now so his attacks come across as impotent and pathetic.

Otherwise, he's the same old man.

Biden sucks but I don't feel sorry for Trump; **** his feelings, right?

Wow Trump finally attacked libtards. All I have seen out of him is Poll quotes and how Newsome and Hillary have been nice to him. Some libtard some where must have been mean to him or pissed in his Wheaties

Regardless of the reason I'm glad to see it. To bad for him he has got a lot of patching up to do with the real right. Populist fakes dont count.

With the death of Gary Rossington this is officially nothing more than a tribute band. Johnny Van Zant and Rickey Medlocke have found a way to sell records by cozying up to the pundits on FNC and playing a few of the oldies to sell tickets but this political commercialization of their music and labeling it "Lynyrd Skynyrd" has Ronnie Van Zant rolling over in his grave. The last thing the original Van Zant was is political and was 100% anti establishment. I mean if JVZ is seriously all about being true to who you are and all that stuff, call it The Johnny Van Zant Band, that was his band. Seriously Artimus Pyle was the drummer when the plane went down and survived but he's a flaming vegetarian liberal, and also a registered sex offender involving two underage adolescent girls, and is a registered democrat. JVZ is about bottom line profits not a warrior for the cause. If they want to attach themselves to musicians why not Toby Kieth who's done more for Vets that the rest combined, or Aaron Lewis, or Trace Adkins. TK is dying and is still supporting Vets. DeSantis is looking more like Biden's phoney crap, with this tribute band nonsense.

One… keep my name out of your mf'ing mouth /will smith
Two… they weren't the same band after the crash, so… cool? Calling them out as a tribute band now is so edgy, so raw, so controversial. So brave.
Two (b)… what's your opinion of ZZ Top after Dusty Hill passed? Never mind, idgaf.
Three… a learned Skynyrd authority such as yourself would know that this song actually came out over a year ago. Your outrage is manufactured as if it was a government project: overdue, over budget, and with more fanfare than it deserves.

Damn, reach much?

"In Birmingham they love the Governor, we all did what we could do" is literally in Sweet Home Alabama was about George Wallace. They weren't deeply political but they were definitely not afraid to comment. They were also from Florida originally.

DeSantis is also the most Anti Establishment candidate in the race. Trump is the one who endorsed McDaniel and Lindsay Graham. More than that though DeSantis backed up his words with deeds and has actually promoted freedom in Florida and wants to do it nationally.

Sorry not everyone worships at the alter of Trump and there is no reason to think Ronnie would have either other than your imagination.

Sadly, the law can't be enforced at this time because of the Supreme Court ruling in Kennedy v. Louisiana.

Texas still has the same law on the books, pretty sure Louisiana never repealed theirs either, but for the time being, they can't be applied.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

This is funny.

Trump comes out a week ago talking about the "Golden Showers" and "4 Hookers" thing in Iowa saying it didn't happen even though no one asked.

Vander Plaats says people are just tired of hearing about it and obviously it isn't really appropriate conversation.

Immediately Trump supporters start attacking Vander Plaats for talking about it and say no one wants to talk about the Russia stuff.

Then some realize Trump was the one who brought it up.

It shows how little even reporters are paying attention to the lunacy Trump is talking about now and how even fewer of his followers are. It's not like he does a lot of events either. Comments are pretty amazing.
