how did your taco tuesday thing go?

1 Bud Light draft. 1 Budweiser Bottle. 6 Truly Seltzers (I don't know if they are part of AB)

Now that it is Happy Hour, we have sold pitchers of Yuengling and probably 12 half price house Margaritas.

It is interesting on this side, the selling side, of Budweiser.

Based on your observation, how 'fabulous' were the Bud drinkers?

About my daddy's age.

The fabulous drinkers get the local beers or one of the fancy bar drinks.

We are not a full service bar. Most drinks are tequila or rum based.

Just sold 2 pitchers of BL and 3 of Modelo.

That is more Budweiser than I have sold in two or three weeks.

FJB is so bad that even big beer companies are hurt by him being 'president'.

Vegas sales way down.

Coors and Miller are $3 off a case at Wally World

They need to run the heck out of specials and capitalize on this opportunity.

Haven't moved any BL bottles from the big cooler to the bar cooler in over a week.

Have moved Coors and Dos XX twice since Saturday.

Next Friday will be interesting with it being Cinco de Mayo and if Corona sells.

Was at a crawfish boil this afternoon with my wife's friends. Saw one micolob ultra being drunk. A guy brought a 12 pack of bud light as a joke (he has had it for over a month) but initially said he found it on sale. Heard multiple jokes about bud light being the gay/****** beer.

It was glorious.

$21.99 on the Costco website. 32% discount is pretty steep.

Not going to confirm right now, but I believe that is actually below cost. If I'm right, then it tells me they'd rather lose a little than all of it. Yeah, AB is in a lot of trouble.

Coors light salesman in my area selling 200-300 cases more a day now and trucks running at full speed. Ive only seen BL truck once compared to Coors nearly every day on my route. Crazy how far it fell in my area. Id be pissed if I was a BL salesman. They distribute alot like Ghost, Alani Nu, Prime other than beer that has spiked lately so they are not hurting as much as it seems. If people boycotted their energy/hydration drinks they would be crippled. Ill update once I run into him and see how many cases he is down.

Think of it this way, at $18, each can would be $.50. They are selling cans of beer for less than that. This has to be getting close to Keystone price for Bud Light (Keystone was out choice for beer pong because it was the cheapest you could get quickly).

it is for sure cheaper than the 36 pack of Coke/Dr Pepper at Costco.

My family's business is in retail liquor. I haven't asked our manager that orders for all stores for what exactly is happening, but I will. I can say that our sales of Yuengling has skyrocketed off the charts.

Was up in Dickinson, ND last week and the bar looked like it had BL on draft. I asked the bartender what all they had on draft and he didn't mention the clearly visible BL knob. I laughed and said, "BL not moving here either?" He laughed and said, "we disconnected the keg in the back last week after not a single one was ordered the week prior. We just left the knob up as a conversation starter."

Yeah and you can assume if a pallet is sitting out in the middle of Costco at $15/ea., Costco is taking at least 4 or 5 bucks of that. They are 100 percent dumping inventory unless that is somehow faked.

We had a delivery scheduled for 8am on Friday at our wholesaler(one of the top 10 largest beer wholesalers in America) and I got a call from our brewery that the driver was turned away. After calling the wholesaler, we found out that they had to shut down receiving for 3 days due to overstock in product and not having anywhere to put deliveries. As of Friday morning, 50 trucks had already been turned away. When I asked if this was due to the lack of outgoing BL sales, I was told "No comment".

Wholesalers are furious. Many are down 25+% with overstock sitting in their warehouses.
