I do. Schools should never replace the parent. If the parent is not living up to their duties, fix the parent. Do not expose other people's kids to your definition of what is appropriate sex & gender conversations.

And the mental health profession seem to be failing miserably at their jobs right now so using their consensus as confirmation should immediately raise a red flag.

Appeal to authority is a logical fallacy.
There is ZERO reason to teach sexual orientation to anyone grades KG to 3.
And the last person who should be teaching it to kids is the teacher. That's what parents are for.

Quit sexualizing kids. Its not that hard.

Look up the books like "Gender Queer", "Flamer", and "This Book is Gay" and the actual content and pictures within them. Check out "Libs of TikTok" where she has volumes of posts from teachers themselves talking about how they are going way over the line to introduce Trans issues to very small children.

The biggest issue though is that the law was about Parental Rights first and foremost and making sure that for instance if a child wants to start going by a different name or gender at school the school had to inform the parents and that parents have a right to see what the materials that are being taught to their kids. You have schools in Blue states now that not only will allow kids to engage in living a "double life" at school they actively encourage it both with teachers and clubs they have set up and they also are telling kids to keep it secret from their parents because they may not understand. It's the definition of grooming. Now there are many states where you can have your child taken from you if you don't support them wanting to change their gender.

It's not some conspiracy it is definitely happening and it is a real problem. All the Florida Law did was set guidelines for when topics of different types of sex and gender education could be discussed with children at different ages and it allowed for parents to have the ability to access and see all of it and have the ability to decide if they wanted to have their kid opt out. It's no different really than how sex education has previously been handled in public schools it is just trying to get control of something that has been spiraling out of control quickly.

The reality is there are a significant number of teachers that have gotten into the profession to push an agenda and be a Social Justice Warrior and not so they can teach Math or English or Science. They want to push their personal views on young people that see them in a position of authority and are susceptible to whatever they are pushing. Even if kids disagree they are also scared into silence because they fear retribution from the teacher.
