How long will this take to play out? Case thrown out? Actual trial? Not very well versed in legal system.

I've literally called you out (caught) twice for straight copy and paste posts you've done on here, congrats on stepping up your game by using AI.

I notice you didn't refute using that to make your "post"…

At the minimum, they'll draw it out until after the primaries.

If he wins, they will continue and likely get more indictment from Soros backed DAs and probably DOJ.

Regardless, they will never let it go until Trump is dead.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

I think Desantis' best move is to throw all support to Trump, perhaps even consider a VP role. Arguably the best chance for a blowout (wipeout) of democrats.
By stepping aside, he avoids being a first time loser for the candidacy

His team should produce a series of their own "pretend"mug shots. Make them available ASAP. Make them favorable to him and undercut what the criminal DA would wish to happen.

Go on the offense. And yes I'm still sick to my stomach.

We see history unfolding before our eyes.....a shameful, yet eerily eponymous, day in the history of our republic. The day where the moral depravity consuming one half of our electorate symbolically comes to reckon with self actualization. A former President of the United States indicted for a crime. It is simply unthinkable.

Shows you how ****ing corrupt and mentally deranged the democrats are. Congrats on being one of them.

If we're being honest, this was almost certainly a violation of campaign finance laws, and Trump is probably guilty. But the idea that this should be made a felony is ridiculous and purely political.

Republican DA's should repay in spades. Obama, Clinton, and many other Dems are just as guilty. DA's have just looked the other way and politicians have always been allowed to either go with fines or leave the public space quietly. No more. Go after any and everybody. Charge them with felonies.

Two can play this ridiculous game.

Even being well versed in the legal system, (retired trial attorney) this case could go in any number of directions.

Motion to quash indictment, motions to dismiss, Trump asserts his right to a speedy trial, etc. Can become quickly an appellate case or could go to trial in 180 days.

Strategy will differ between lawyers. IDK.

I hope the left enjoys getting Reagan style beat down from Desantis.
The problem is him becoming a martyr makes it more likely for him to get the nomination.
potentially for all the idiots.

but when millions of women in the suburbs now get to watch on TV every night how 65 year old Trump was banging a 32 year old P@rn star-

when Melania was pregnant and then trying to pay her off to protect his political career.

anyone that thinks Trump has a prayer at beating a democrat is literally insane.

even more women will hate him in 2024 than in 2020!

Trump was dominated by geriatric Biden in 2020 and has been responsible for republicans losing 3 election cycles in a row and you think he can win in a blowout?

Remember when the shallow minded libs and concerned moderates freaked out about Trump's comment about Hillary going to jail is he was elected?

Hypocritical much?

Can any of you tell us how you reconcile this?
The bigger question is how do you equate that?

Biden didn't campaign on jailing Trump. The indictment is not from a federal court. A president declaring who should be in jail is astonishingly improper. Trump did it all the time.

You calling anyone "shallow minded" is more akin to hypocrisy than your silly comparison.

Took them 7 years to find a "crime", and it's an alleged federal campaign finance "crime" that the sitting far left Democrat US Attorney General did not think was a crime. They had to go for a local leftist mob and completely b*st*rdizing the "law" to get it done. Pathetic. Beyond pathetic.
you seem to be not realizing the REAL grand juries are investigating and empanelled to go after Trump for January 6 and the Georgia voting attempt to "create more votes"

so you may think this is the only thing the democrats have- but Trump will likely be indicted at least for one additional crime or indicted two more times.

4D chess by the democrats. This will galvanize the rabid Trump voters enough to potentially give him the R nomination and a Biden victory, or create enough rabid base that the fool will run independent and also give Biden a victory.

If Trump is the Republican nominee, you better vote for him or this crap is on you.

Hope you realize the campaign finance bit is the weakest part of the whole case. The worse thing they did was record in the wrong accounting period.

But there was NOTHING improper about the payment, the lawyer paying it on his behalf, nor him reimbursing the lawyer about it over time and recording it as a legal expense.

Now, if you had told me a person friendly a candidate and its campaign paid off his sons seven figure settlement with IRS over tax fraud allegations then I think maybe that's a campaign finance violation.

Or receiving in kind advertising via a complicit press to lie about unappealing stories, that is also likely a campaign violation.

But making an inconsequential payment to a crazy ass porn star who is making viscous claims about you and you just want her to shut up, that is not a campaign violation.

Hopefully you found this information helpful and enlightening.

any "conservative" too stupid to realize that the leftists love setting this trap because it makes their job easier- is beyond hope.

No DA in NEW YORK would ever bring a indictment and arrest UNLESS THE WHITE HOUSE WANTED IT.

I very much doubt this is his last time to be indicated. Imo, this will be a difficult conviction to get, as well as the Jan 6 and the classified documents cases.

The Georgia case is where i could see an indictment and conviction.

Maybe they'll appoint him to the Lerner/Koskinen role at the IRS, where he'll be sure to raid and audit people like Matt Taibbi for having the unmitigated gall to tell the American public the truth.

He has executive immunity to be claimed in the Georgia case.

In his official duties as POTUS, he has the responsibility to ensure a free and fair election and that all votes were counted.

If we are going back to how snowflakes in the world want to decipher intent on telephone calls, then we can do the Ukraine thing all over again.

But even if what he did was against the law, a sitting POTUS has complete immunity outside of impeachment process.

If Dems want to go forth on that, we will be at SCOTUS for a hearing on the future of the Republic.
